was speaking of our big three who have farmed out more jobs than they have made. I believe that if you reward all employees with your profits and pay your bills. and yes take some yourself ...you build and stronger and more loyal workforce and company. If you acknowledge your workforce is one of the reasons you have success then you should be rewarding them. Do you want to do there job?

As I have said it use to be you paid your workers, your bills and you pay yourself last. Now we pay our selves first the our employees next and we may pay our bills this month but maybe pay them next month.

Do you not think that if corporations/businesses took ALL profits for 5 years and put them into their corporations/companies and employees that we would not have a stronger america? That they could not offer better benefit packages and perks for even the lowest tier employees.

Foreign automakers don't ask or get bailouts. Only GM and Chrysler have gotten bailout money. GM is bragging about making a 7 billion profit yet they own the taxpayer more then 40 billion. Why aren't they giving that 7 billion back to the taxpayer?
Wrong. Foreign automakers are in fact subsidized by their own governments to lower the prices that consumers pay, overseas. Look it up.

The US Government is making money off the interest and the stock that it owns in GM and Chrysler. Eventually when the stock prices raise further, it will be sold and at a profit.

fYI: Foreign companies don't pay taxes to the US government on profit, however companies headquartered here do, although less than what it should be. Foreign companies don't offer defined pension plans either, they offer only 401k's that are subject to the whims of wallstreet. Give me a defined pension plan everyday, over the sham that is wallstreet.

I grew up in union household and have held in the past union jobs, two of my kids are in union jobs. and unions have changed big time. when my parent belonged, unions did big things for the employees. when I belonged they still did good things but began to get more political and less visible to union members, now with my kids the only time they see the union is when elections happen( union member) and when the contract comes up. I know a lot has to do with all the federal regulating so they do not have do as much with actual worker rights....now they just are pacs and lobbyists. But i am not sure unions are as necessary as they used to be now if they start repealing worker rights then they will become important again.

Daily Horoscope for June 4

Aquarius

The emotional atmosphere is quite potent under this Lunar Eclipse, evoking a sense of crisis. The problems you've been experiencing with a certain person lately come to a head during the next fortnight, making you feel that you have to take drastic action or lay down the law. Yet this could make the situation worse than ever, especially if you act from a sense of panic or desperation. Take things gently and don't throw your weight around unless it's absolutely necessary.
