Thanks when I went to the page for Ryan's forum thats what it said I was responding to someone else and it was more towards something said about ryan and something about stewart I honestly didnt think I even went to it I didnt mean to offend you ok hope Sterling does good too I have nothing against him

I like the COT, but Casey hasn't had much luck with it yet. I'm sure he'll come aound though.
Are you a Rick or Roger fan? My dad was a huge Roger Mears fan, he loves off-road racing. My sisters and I grew up going to the sandunes and the mountains with my dad in the dunebuggies that he built. We love the Mears family.

I no longer follow open-wheel racing...just NASCAR. But,'back in the day' it was Rick Mears. My husband liked Mario and I liked A.J....made for some interesting race-day conversations!
Now,I'm curious about Juan Pablo. He's gonna be a star,but if he can't learn to curb his arrogance, his new peers are going to take him to school.
Confidence is one thing. Any successful athlete needs tons of that...with just a pinch of arrogance. But when he knocked Scott out of contention Sunday,he didn't even try to sound sincere in his apology. Pruett, however, sounded very sincere in his criticism of JP's driving style! heehee.
I do not like Chip Ganassi, for reasons many of you will understand, but I pull for, or against, a driver regardless of whom he works for.
It'll be fun watching Juan Pablo develop...especially if he starts thinking he's God's gift to NASCAR. That sure won't last long!

Yeah, I could not believe how insincere Montoya was, he would have been better off not to have said anything at all. I think all of the attention he has been getting is really going to his head.

Well, he is an open-wheel driver. Over there it was survival of the noisiest,and teammates were never friends, just fellow commodities.
In NASCAR there are close friendships among the drivers,especially the older ones. It's the complete reverse in IRL. He'll learn.

Perfectly put, Sterling marlin is Southern Gentleman and one awesome race car driver. he has proved himself since he took his daddy's place in 1976.He has worked for and earned everything he has... Especially the 2 Daytona 500 wins in a roll,(he holds that record with Yarlbourough, and Petty).

And what a great qualifier he's turned out to be!
