id say to ryan if hes so smart he and his brainsurgeon wanna be crewchief should have had the car running better from A to Z. then he wouldnt have been back in the back just 'trying to keep our nose clean' ie same as 'riding around'
at least he likes animals, so he does have some redeeming quality.

Okay,I hate that comment that he made to Sterlin Marlin.Its just shows that these driver do not have any respect out there for each other.

Heck I was just glad to see Sterling make the headlines. He certainly hasn't done it by winning or even finishing close to the front. Newman may just be my new favorite.

Never heard him cry? What post race show are you watching? The guy is a broken record, all he does is complain about how some other driver ruined his day. Marlin has been crashed lots of times and 95% of the time chalks it up to "one of those racing deals".

Well newmen is been geeting week after races.

I like Ryan Newman, and I believe he is a good driver. So his year isn't perfect. There are a lot of drivers worse then him. He isn't a whiner. He just states the facts the way they are. He is always polite. Sterling Marlin is way past his time.

Newman has won the most polls i think then k/busch,think im right about that,,Newman has also had some bad luck,and he has proved he is a good driver,but he just has been in the middle of wrecks or got loose many times,not necessarily his fault,just the whole crew is part of the equasion as well,the car was not handling right,just like with Tony Stewart and losing the chase because they could not get that car to handle,it's a team effort..It's kinda like gymnastics,they work as a whole team if one member of that team cant perform up to standard it takes the whole team down.Hope you don't mind that comparasion,but it's true,it's all 100% or you fall short..

Ryan Newman is obviously feeling guilty and dissappointed that he isn't in the chase.As for Sterling, he is still a good clean racecar driver.Sterling had to work for everything he has,on the other hand ,Ryan Newman was a boy when he started racing and was put in modern technology(He is like a little boy given a toy)Even I could race a Nextel cup Car if I was given the car Ryan drives.
Your are right,Ryan Newman Is not perfect,but I guarantee he will not be a round as long as Sterling,Rusty,DJ,Martin,etc.. .nor will hegive as much of himself to Nascar and various charities as those veterans , I just mention. Ryan is out there for himself,and he doesn't care who he hurts as long as it fills his over inflated ego of himself...if I were you ,I would pick another role model.

Christine, I just clicked on to this forum out of curiosity and am laughing like crazy at your comments about Ryan gaining weight. I thought I was seeing things, but you are right, he is built more like a professional wrestler now than even a football player. I don't know much about him except I have noticed that he is very good at fish-tailing the driver in front of him. He gets away with murder sometimes and I believe it was the Atlanta race, he finally got busted for "aggressive driving." I think the man has potential and if he would try on some of those manners some of the folks on this forum suggested, he could be a wonderful cup champion. Does the guy really whine and cry that much? They don't seem to care to talk to him pre or post race, so I don't get to hear him. Forgive me, I am still naive, as I am a newcomer to NASCAR.

Newmen is not doing so good so far I see.
