Great to see Sam Hornish slowly but surely getting the hang of nascar. In the past two months to get two top tens, lead at Talladega for a few laps and qualify in the top five at both Talladega and Darlington, and now win the All Star Open it just shows that he does know how to handle a Stock car. Im still not confident enough to say he'll win a Cup race this season, i hope he does as the Coca Cola 600 has been the first victory for alot of drivers such as Casey Mears, Bobby Labonte, Jeff Gordon, and Matt Kenseth. Id even say that Hornish is outperforming Montoya therefore right now, he's the best open wheel driver to transition to Nascar.

Here lately, Hornish is greatly outperforming Montoya and is getting talked about a hellva lot more than Montoya. What has Montoya accomplished or done lately? His rookie year he lucks into a fuel mileage win at a road course, wins a Nationwide race at a road course, but other than that, what has he done? Granted Hornish hasnt won a Cup race yet, but he's outperforming Montoya at all the oval tracks, something that Montoya has yet to improve upon, and until he does that, i dont think he's even a mild success at Nascar. Only at road courses, and really only at Infinion, has he been a threat, and other than that, he's a joke. And i guarantee that after this season, if he's still with EGR, he'll be the only driver there. Plus, Montoya still doesnt have an appreciation for stock cars, just as he said about the All Star race, if he didnt make it into the big show, he didnt care, whereas every other driver in that All Star Open are driven to get into it. If he doesnt care, id love to see his ass elsewhere, like back in open wheel.

How many times has he been a factor? Montoya has shown NOTHING to indicate he should be in a stock car, and if you cant see that, your blind, which apparently u are since your a fan of the jackass called Kyle. Hornish has shown more promise in Nascar in this year alone than Montoya has in the past couple seasons.

Hornish is doing ok if he can stop wrecking every race he might actually have a chance at winning. Juan I think has improved alot and has the ability to driver but not sure if its lack of equipment or experience. But Juan drives with a chip on his shoulder and ends up fighting with the car next to him and then its all over. If he would stop busting up his car and drive around other cars instead of trying to move everyone one out of the way he would be up front also.

He's not always to blame, but it seems like every race something goes on around him. I'm happy to see both of them improving.

At least that "jackass" Doesn't make up excuses for his lack of performance, or blames his crew chief, and He wins, unlike said driver.
