anyone to win is good for me as long as Earnheart is not the winner. I used to like him but when the drivers let him win and I do mean let him win the first race after his daddy splat the wall. He didnt earn that win as the drivers let him win--what a phoney

I told all you MFs that a FORD would win WAY TO GO MATT KENSETH. Biffle, sometimes you're too much of a team player but a great way to start. Edwards, a top ten finish ain't bad...FORD PRIDE BABY FORD PRIDE!!!!!!
Jimmie Johnson crash, Jeff Gordon blew an engine, Kasey Khane crash, Tony Stewart crash, Ryan Newman crash leaving Jr as the only Hendrick hoe running and he gave us a good run for our money, but IT WAS ONE HELL OF A RACE!!!!!!!!!!

Not satisfied! The race should have ended after the jet dryer disaster, even if that meant a driver I know NASCAR did not want to see in victory lane would have won.
I knew when they restarted the race that a Roush pest was going to win, especially considering that Ricky Stenhouse, a Roush pest, casued both the big ones after the race restarted.
Congrats NASCAR, you got what you wanted. It is no longer the Daytona 500. From this day forward, the race shall now be known as the Disaster 500!
... & that's my final answer!

And your final answer is correct...There is a disaster every year at the Daytona 500. I still don't understand why it's known as "The Superbowl of Nascar" when it's only the first race of the season, but it is what it is and everybody wants to win it and that makes disaster more likely to strike, so love the ones you love and hate the ones you hate, It's just the world of Nascar and it's all about fate.

The race was a disgrace, but the Speed Channel is calling this joke the greatest Daytona 500 ever. Helton and France are estatic, the Jet Dryer explosion was great for ratings, they wish they hadn't thought of this before. NASCAR should give Montoya a bonus.
