kasey & ashley spotting!

well, obviously the paris thing didn't phase ashley! i was in oskapaloosa monday night because i was visiting my brother in des moines. kasey was supposed to be racing so my brother and i went to his trailer to get his autograph. ashley was there selling t-shirts at his trailer. i said hi to her and bought a t shirt from her. she was really nice! im glad she stuck by kasey even though it must have been hard with all the paris crap.

Right on! I am glad that the brak-up rumors that have been circulating weren't true. She seems like a really nice girl and I hope that she is in it for the long haul, so to speak.

Plus, the Paris thing was pretty much nothing after all. I'm glad they're still together!

The only thing I question is she PR person for Brian Vickers. If she is how does she get all that time off to go with kasey everywhere. Perhaps she isn't working and that would put her in the catagory of the others.

But on the weekends, she's always with Brian (you can see her in pics with him), unless Brian misses a race, then she's usually with Kasey.

Nannie, it's good to see you on again, and I was wondering the same thing. I friend of mine's niece is a p/r girl and it really surprised me what all goes into that job. She works some crazy hours and has very few days off. In fact, she nearly got fired when she missed some extra days when her husband's dad died. I don't know how you could do your job well if you just showed up on race day, but hey, that's just my opinion. I hope everything is well with you Nannie!!

thats what happened to tara (smoke's ex g/f)she got fired b/c she missed too many days

Hi I am fine except for the extreme heat and I am staying in under the air-conditioning. A Pr person has more to do than go to the race with the driver and Ashley goes with Kasey to all the sprint car races and everything else he does. I don't think if she still has that job that she will have it for long. I saw where Scott Dixon was engaged so there will be no going back there. I just know what goes on in the pits concerning the drivers and it is not very pretty. Hope you are doing fine.

if you get that pit pass they offer at the race, do the drivers have trailers down there that they sell stuff out of? ive been to races, just never done the pit pass thing.
im planning on going to richmond, and i was wondering.

Not to my knowledge. Usually they're set up out in the parking lot. Although depending on the track there may be a general souviner stand in the pit area. I know Vegas has one in the Neon Garage.

After what was announced bout Team Red Bull having problems, i dont think kasey's girl will be there very long.

I know what you mean about the heat, even at 11 at night it's still too hot to walk the dog. I've said before that I wonder how some of these girls give up so much to be with a driver. Look at Denny Hamlin's now ex-girlfriend, she gave up going to college and left her family and friends to follow and work for him. Now he's moved on and she has no education, no job, no home. I've heard she moved back to her home town. I guess I'm too much of a worrier to give up my job that I've worked so hard for to follow something that is so likely not to work out. But hey, all the drivers end up finding girls so their gambles worked out.

I know she was with Denny for seven years and look what it got her. I hope she still goes to college. She seemed like a nice girl. The story she caught him with someone else but you can hear anything. As I have stated before I was married to a race car driver and it wasn't even big time. He raced mostly at Hickory Motor Speedway but the big boys used to race there also. You would not believe the women in the pits. If they wanted a driver they went after them. Back then when the race was over the fans could walk across the track and into the pits. If you didn't want one of them to take your husband you had better stay with him. It is ridiclous but a very true fact.

have you all ever heard of vacation days? im sure her team doesnt just let her have off whenever she wants. she must be using days off to go with kasey to the sprint car races. i think its pretty cool she gives up her vacation days to do what he loves - not what she loves. that says a lot about her.

which brings me back to my original point about tara

Well im from new jersey and I try to get to every race i can.. like Dover, Pocono and Watkins Glen. I was at the Pocono race this past weekend, I have pit pass and all that good stuff.. I usually just stand along pit road just watching all the drivers.. take pictures.. blah blah blah haha. i noticed Ashley leading Brian V. to his car.. n noticed Kasey walking in the opposite directon? As Kasey came close they didnt even look at eachother?!?! whats up with that? He walked by her like she wasnt even there? thats very odd... I most certainly hope they are together... well yeah... Im going to the Watkins Glen race this weekend, and I sure will keep an eye on Kasey and Ashley... have a great day/week/weekend everyone.

Well she was working at Pocono. Probably the only time we see her with Kasey is when Brian misses a race. She still has a job you know. I'm sure when Kasey does the sprint races, she has nothing going on. You know the PR people aren't with the drivers 24/7, she's bound to have a few days off during the week.
