Edwards knows team is better than results show

Edwards really needs to win a race or two if he's gonna make the chase. He just signed that big contract last year so he has a very huge obligation to fill.

He won 9 races in 2008, remember? But, finished 2nd to Mr. 5x because of the Chase. He came close to winning the championship last year but than again Mr. 5x was close to winning it before he won his first championship, remember? I'm not a Edwards fan but I think he's secure with Roush Racing since Kenseth will be leaving next year. He dosen't need to win a race or be in the Chase to secure his spot with the team next year. Having said that I think he'll secure the wild card spot.

He won't secure a wild card spot without a win or two. He's been flirting with that #10 spot all season. I don't know where Kenseth will end up but I've got a feeling that Roush will regret investing so much in Edwards rather than saving it for Kenseth. However, Edwards was Roush's top driver last year...That's been the weird thing about Roush from year to year, you never know who will be their top driver from one year to the next.

He has really disappointed me this season, but I'm happy enough to see kenseth and biffle in the top though...

I'm really begining to wonder if Carl Edwards will make the chase this year. He almost won it last year, but lost the tiebreaker to Tony Stewart due to # of victories. Ironically Edwards only had one victory last year and this year he has none and has been flirting with the top 10 all year. Now he's currently in 11th and is 136 points behind 10th place brad keslowski. He has a 20 point lead over 12th place Kasey Kahne, but it doesn't mean anything especially after Kahne collected his 2nd victory of the season. Behind Kahne is Kyle Busch by two points and Ryan Newman by about 12; newman & Busch have 1 victory each.

There is no question...Carl Edwards needs to pick up his game and score some victories soon if he wants to make the chase.

Kahnes victory really ticks me off because of that now. The time is now for him to start winning races and I'm not talking top 5s or 10s I mean DRIVE TO VICTORY LANE
