Well before this gets out of hand, as I have been reading on others, It is not a done deal yet according to ESPN. I just thought that JRM aquiring DP would be in JR's intrest in the business sence only. Most of the money would come from merchindiace sold, if he recieves any of the profit from her, which she may retain it all, as JR does his.Winning tho would be aa plus.

He knows you don't have to be good, all you need is a name. Jr. using DP = HMS using Jr. MONEY, MONEY, MONEY $$$$$$$$$$

I am certainly not a fan of her nor will I be wanting her to have success. But I understand why Junior is doing it.

There's an Article in the National Enquirer talking about how Jr had an emotional breakdown and was weeping and punching walls after a race. Poor guy, He needs a hug :(

Poor guy, He needs a hug :( Can you imagine how it must feel to have your teammates, 1st,2nd and 3rd all battling for the championship and to be 23rd in points. All while being surrounded by the best personnel and equipment available? He must really feel like a loser. I'm not trying to bash jr, I'm being serious, that would make ANY driver feel like a loser. Maybe in the off season, he'll decide to start taking this racing thing serious and hold himself accountable for his lackluster, if not down right pathetic, performance. It's up to him to make personal changes. Kinda like the saying "you can lead a horse to water, but you can't make'm drink". Jr has been led, now it's his decision what to do in the future.

I agree, I hope he can take time off for himself to recharge his batteries and get refocused

I can't see him getting heavy into the booze.. To the point of his banging the wall etc after a race.. I would hope he would be dissatisfied with the performance on the track and let go with frustration (out of the car) and get that all out. Frustration, helplessness, despondency **my words not what Jr is going through) takes it's toll on people and his horrible year if gratefully coming to an end. I hope he does what he said on QVC, staying home this off-season, getting down to business and looking forward to 2010.

Bubba, I agree about his feeilngs of where he stands in the HMS stable. But it's not only him that has contributed to this horror season, but he is a major part of it. What I don't agree about -- what personal changes does he need to make? ONLY if you were a close personal friend that sees what he does 24/7 can anyone one of us state with certainty that there are personal changes to be made. Professional changes, yes -- communication for one and getting himself into the mindset to be at peace with the COT. And finally agree to a point; it's his decision for his future in racing, I'd add the team needs to make decisions together to get back into being competitive and then who knows what can be accomplished.

There is an RV dealer in Jacksonville who got Jr's Motorcoach after he went on a rampage, he totally destroyed the inside of a 1.3m dollar coach. They had to sell it for scrap! It would have cost too much to re-do the inside of it, all the granite countertops, and cabnets had been smashed.
