NASCAR doesn't need Danica Patrick. If she starts winning there will be more skeptcial people than we have now. The good ole boys will not be routing for her.

Danica would be good for NASCAR the way Jr. is good for NASCAR....at the souvenir trailers but not on the track. She might want to prove herself in the series she's in, before starting another career.

Why all the negativity? Good ole boys die and new good ole boys replace you with new ideas that appear ole to the young. As far as proving herself in her series first... Are you the best in your "series"? The world is made up of the outstanding individuals to mere grunts. Each equally important. CEO's are useless without those below them to carry out their ideals. Let her do what she wants. NASCAR might be her calling.

I'd never believe it if I hadn't seen it with my own eyes! Your comment is right-on!

I'm glad SOMEbody has a good head on their shoulders and isn't looking at it as if its just one more person NOT to like. She might actually have a different attitude in NASCAR too - a more humbled one. I don't think anyone needs to make preconceptions. We need to let her come in, try a few races, and make up her mind if she wants to pursue this as a new step in her career or not. Hate her all you want but she deserves the right to try, the same as everyone else. She has every right to investigate anything she wants in life to see if it appeals to her. Anyone who would want to deny her the opportunity needs to get their head out of their ass.

This is America, you S-holes!

And Junior should prove himself in Sprint Cup before he decides he's qualified to comment on whether someone else is ready to join that league. It ain't like that hayseed knows what the heck he's doing on the track on any given Sunday.

maybe she feels indycar is too challenging, and unforgiving to even the slightest bump from a wall or another car. That series is almost 100% stay clear of everything out there but nascar she can at least rub fenders and continue hehe

I guess I'm old fashioned. Been watching Nascar for more years than I can count. Proud to be an American, where we have freedom of choice. My choice is let her stay where she is...good old boys don't need her. Sometimes it doesn't hurt to let the boys play by themselves! lol

Hell, If were her, I'd pack up all my good A cup bras head to NASCAR too. Tons of money for a few races and tons of money in the souvenir busines, what's not to like, except racing with those good ole boys that run around week after week for peanuts. Let me put myself in one of those guys shoes, let's say Kelly Bires. I've been busting my ass trying to get a steady ride and here comes some high profile, female open wheeler whose going to get the royal treatment for running a few races for a few million. Let's see, am I going to move over and give her the track or am I going to move over and give her the wall. Hmmm, Let's see, I'm going to be a gentleman and help her learn to stockcar race so I'll rub her fender a little right here and let the wall rub the fender on the other side a little. Are we having fun yet? Watch that aero-push Darling, it will mess you up every time.

unfortunately the sponsors have alot to do with that. she's already high profile; nascar will show alot of what she does or doesn't do and the sponsors names will be seen alot. thats the purpose. it's all about advertising, not racing anymore.

Danica and Jr could "console" each other in Jr's motorhome after they wreck each other.

Daily Horoscope for December 24

Aries

Christmas Eve finds you happy and eager to get the most out of the day. You're in a rather sentimental mood, so if you've got time you'll relish the chance to watch a favourite film, especially if it means you've got to get out the hankies. A friend's kindness or sensitivity will delight you - and make you wonder how you can reciprocate.
