The number 12 (Jeremy's old ride) is available! That would be real cool, since he had his best years there, until whatever happened with that team happened. If he cannot get a competitive ride, I hope he doesn't take one! L8R. Daniel.

1 The last two years he's paid for whatever he did wrong. There will be an owner who will take a chance on Jeremy for next year. Just watch and see. |

In order to be considered a "has been" you first have "to be" something. In Jeremy's case, that is a good NASCAR driver. His record on the track will vouch for that. You, sir, I will venture to say is what can otherwise be considered a "never was." And that is a very sad thing to be in life. |

Now, now, now! Let's be good! I will have you to know that Jeremy ranks about 84th on the all time win list...lots of good drivers have NEVER won a race. Just for example, Mike Skinner has 0 wins in Cup. If you look over my "Boy" Jeremy's record closely, you will see 5 wins and a lot of seconds that were taken away by the rain and other factors, such as a blown tire at Pocono with a half a lap to go! I am sure you wouldn't want me to "run down" your driver either, that is...IF you have one! Go Jeremy...and get a GOOD RIDE this time! L8R. Daniel.(P.S. Jeremy is no kin...I just like the "Boy."

1 In order to be a has been, wouldn't one have to have at least made it? If that's the case - then he couldn't very well... "always was" - the always will be is still up in the air, but I suspect he will manage something - whether that is behind the wheel or as an owner is the only real question! |

I think he has owned teams before...maybe in ARCA as a co-owner. It would be tough to compete, though in that capacity. I would rather see him drive for someon for another 4-5 years first. Whatever is good for Jeremy! L8R. Daniel.

I think Jeremy is a good driver but has problems communicating. I have been a committed fan for 10 years and still believe he could 9with the right team) not only make the chase but win the championship. He needs to take a course in interpersonal relationships. Go Jerry and "show em" jaNIE RN

There has been articles written lately about Jeremy. They have been able to add their comments. There are some wonderful good ones, and some that are very insulting to Jeremy and Shana. There are two good fans, and others that are slowly but surely getting the truth across about Jeremy.People believe some of what they read, and some just follow what a TROOL says, so after a bit they believe it, the untruth. Maybe some are afraid that Jeremy will win a race. JEREMY can still drive, hasn't lost it yet, and will do a good job for his owner. He got some awful things done to him in the past, and has paid for it the last two years. JEREMY should be driving next year. I honestly think he will. Keep the faith.

Jeremy Mayfield is only getting back what he has done to others. I remember his first ride, do the rest of you? Jeremy was given a ride by T.W. Taylor in the old Children's Mircle Network #02 and told T.W. how he wanted to be a part of a new team growing in Cup, well, fast forward about six months and Cale Yarborough came to Petersburg Va. at the airport where the car was housed and T.W. kept his planes and was there to sell T.W. a twin engine plane. While T.W. was testing the plane Jeremy started talking to Cale about the #98 RCA ford and how he would love to drive it.
Fast forward another 6 weeks when Jeremy told T.W. that effectively right now, he would no longer be the driver of the #02 and would be driving the #98. If Jeremy never gets a ride again, then so be it, what goes around comes around. At Jeremy's age and relative lack of accomplishment he will never land a competitive ride with all of the sponsors wanting new fresh faces. |

JEREMY WILL BE BACK IN THE #12

I remember the #98 too, as well as the #37 K-mart car afterwards. Until then I wasn't much of a NASCAR fan, but seeing him usually start near the back and be towards the front in just a matter of laps got me hooked. To be honest, since he hasn't been racing, I haven't been watching. He's too good of a driver to be stuck with a team that couldn't have a winning car if the Lord himself was driving. Hope he gets what he needs soon. I kind of miss my racing.
|
||||
Do not worry, he will get what he needs very soon, an alternative way to make a living. |

I would say that Jeremy has paid for a bunch of stuff, for the last two years have been very horrible.

old bars man
you sound very bitter, very bitter. Are you the man yous was talkin 'bout? |

The truth is: Jeremy is in the top ten as far as driver's ability of the current "crop" of drivers...I really believe that! L8R. Daniel.
