1 Not according to Lance Mcgrew, his crew chief. He said on Sirius radio that Jr. did nothing differently coming out of the pits shortly before the engine blew. He spun his wheels just like they all do but he didn't miss a shift. Now, go blow it out your *ss!!!! |

1 Actually Joonyer stated during the race in an interview that it was his fault that he must have over revved the engine, why would he make that statement if he did nothing wrong? |

1 What Lance did was what any good crew chief (with a driver with some questions about his own ability) would do, he deflected some of the blame from Joonyer, thus getting some of the pressure off of him. Joonyer made the statement in the interview during the race that he must have over revved the engine doing the damage that did it in. It is obvious that Joonyer has lost a lot of faith in himself at the present time and Lance is attempting to restore that faith, both on and off of the track, how hard to understand is that? |

if they don't believe Jr then they must think Jr is a liar like everybody else |

1 Actually I did think of it by myself, it seemed better than Non Driving, Pit missing, Engine Blowing, Crew Chief Destroying shell of his father. Now, Mr. Nah. God that one took a long time to think of, amaze us with your knowledge of NASCAR. |

2 He said he THOUGHT it was his fault because Hendricks motors don't just blow up. But then again, he also said he did nothing different, or so he thought, coming out of the pits right before the engine blew going into the pits. And you are correct one of the things he assumed (and he used that word) was that he could have revved the engine I believe what Lance said, I think Jr was just making sure that no one thought he was blaming anyone but himself for the misfortune. If he blamed anyone/anything then people would jump on him. He took the high road.. assumed it was him until proven otherwise. Which Lance did. |

1 I tend to believe that Lance is speaking the truth and not trying to deflect the issue away from Jr. Let them test the darn engine and see what's up. As far as your other statement about faith... totally agree with you. Jr has lost some of that cockiness/swagger and is attempting to get it back with Lance and the team doing a bit better on certain improvements each week. No not in points or wins, but other details necessary to get back to the winning ways. |

1 Big, I agree with you, they are now attempting to set a foundation for next year. This year has been written off as far as season long goals. The only goal they have now is to try to get some top 10s and place themselves in a position to be competitive at the end of races. NASCAR needs Jr. to be more competitive as he IS the out front face for NASCAR, with Jimmy Johnson in the role of Superman, The Man Of Steel has a personality lacking in anything remotely magnetic in nature. Right now NASCAR needs Tony Stewart, Jr. and Kyle Busch to be running up front and causing emotional caring by the fans, whether they be for or against one of the three I have mentioned. I am NOT a Joonyer fan, however, I do recognize his importance to the current popularity of NASCAR. |

1 Believe me, I know more about NASCAR than any Jr. hating, cliche spouting fool, such as yourself. It takes no deep thought to post the same stuff over and over. I believe if you attempted to have a pleasant or original thought, your brain would explode. Your type is tiresome and boring. You seem to be under the impression that what you post is of any relevance or interest to Junior fans. It is not. A big ego, such as one you seem to possess, does not equal big or intelligent thoughts. Oh, and nice father comment. You haters have absolutely no class. Sad and pathetic. |

You got it Big, Junior said he THOUGHT he had overreved the engine. He wasn't sure. But yes, Junior has lost some of his swagger and Lance is trying to help him get it back. I think he is slowly getting it back. This first car that Lance has built is really good. I was so upset quals got cancelled. He would've had a top five start for sure. Instead, 22nd. Blech.

I love little Johnny Come Lately fans, such as yourself. You know so much about NASCAR and Dale and Dale Jr.? Then tell me, oh great one, what innovation did the RCR #3 bring to the world of NASCAR that no other team, driver or car had brought before, thus doubling the value of being in racing. I wonder if you have ever been involved in NASCAR racing, in any official way. Funny thing is that I have talked to Dale years ago at Rick Townsand race cars when he came there to purchase the Late Model Stock Cars for Kerry, Kelly and Jr. We also raced against them a couple of times at South Boston Speedway,(Home of Jeff and Ward Burton). I see that you live in a state that is just chocked full of live big three NASCAR action, ergo, I would think that you have attended all the races in the great state of Ma., correct? |
||||
|
Blowing the engine is an easy way to get out of the race, if you know there is no chance for you to do well. Jr is not having fun anymore.
Oh yeah, please don't make remarks about Jr's pop. You know he was a god. We have all seen the millions of people with the fricking stupid stickers on thier car. |

1 I'm sure someone who is as smart as you are has heard of air/car travel. Do you think I can't leave MA to go to a race? Wow, you really aren't very bright, are you? I too have met DE, and I met him on at least 5 occasions. I've been to over 30 races since the late 80's. You sir are a hater, pure and simple. It's not a sign of any sort of intelligence, IMO. I'm finished with this, as you don't seem to be able to figure out the simpliest thing. |
