But might make a judge feel the field was more level and not as heinous as it has been portrayed right or wrong in the press. He will just pay him off and move on. He may not be able to keep this out of court. It's not like he did it here in the US, he or his attorny may not have much clout in Australia. I'm sure he would like to just pay him off and move on but if Morris is really out for revenge he could make this very costly....and I don't just mean money wise. If Tony has to go back and misses races it will cost him a chance at making the Chase and could cost him sponsors. He screwed up big time this time and I think he knows it.

After all if people remember Tony only talked about what the papers reported . He did not give out anything new . Even when he was asked for additional info he stated he could not answer the question . More importantly has Tony ever held a conference to make a public apology for any of his actions? I will say one thing in NYS if you did what Tony did it could cost U everything U worked for .JMO

You could be right with it not being tried in the US...and austrailians may be swayed and sympathize with Morris even if Morris was was found to be at fault as well. and if under austrailian law they can split fault..( ie if blame has to be 100 percent one way or other...tony is screwed, he maybe screwed either way.) If under their law blame can be set by % of wrongness as it is in the US, then tony could be assesed with a lesser percent(still more than 50 but less than 100%) and Morris could have to take responsibility for what ever part he played in his injuries.and his( morris's award would be based on that percent he is assesed. I still think they both played a part in Morris's injuries. Both actively participated and need to take responsibility for each of their parts.JMO though

I do not think we will ever know the real truth. I have a feeling both sides will agree to keep Quite. And the lawyers Morris & Tonys are seeing major $ signs .Usually the Lawyers are the ones that comei do not want to even know how much Smokes Lawyers are going to get out of the out on top.Lucky SOB LOL It cost a friend 2000.00 for her to go to court to get back Child support .The sad part all she collected was 3000.00 & 2000.00 of it went to the lawyer pathetic.I do not know how true it is but girls at work claim that you do not need a lawyer for family court . According to them the judge would have made the father pay regardless. GO Figure

The sad part in all this is Tony was on Vacation . He got in to an altercation . What happened in Australia should have stayed in Aus .After all think about it . It had NOTHING to do with NASCAR or Tonys NASCAR team .It is really no ones business but Tony & Morris. JMHO

Well I said all along that I thought there was somethings we did not know about all of this. And yes Tony has a temper..Lord knows we have all seen snipets of it if you have followed him as a driver. But Tony does not express it with out some sort of provocation.(not to say it is okay express it in the manner he has...). I gave my scenerio of what I think( jmo..was not there) most likely happened...tony complained about conditions/ morris told him to man up and drive/ exchanges of escalating wussie and pussie comments(of which both were ACTIVE participants, to the point where the pushing shoving verbals got to the point neither could save face and the fight broke out and the police were called.
Tonys injuries I suppose could have been caused by fist, or a tool or by hitting his chin on something during the scuffle....tool box, hauler or other vehicle,..hard to say. Probably same way Morris suffered his injuries. It does explain Rush ,the track owner(or co owner)saying it was just a tiff between 2 drivers.(like same thing happens every Saturday night at any track , any where in the world.)Saturday night racing at it's best! What packs the stands and sells out venues.
