Franchitti (sp?) is the BOSS at Indy, and he was terrible when he tried NASCAR.

People need to give her a chance. The girl's got grit, she's not afraid to take on anyone (I'd love to see her punch out Kyle & Brad K's lights) and she will bring a HUGE amount of attention to the Nationwide Series, which they need. She might make it worth watching again.

Somebody please enlighten me. has she signed on to run any NASCAR races next year? I heard she was looking at it and Kelly Earnhardt was discussing about joining JR motor sports, but nothing was official. Not sure how she will do, but rest assured the hype-o-meter will be pegged out.

She's running part time Nationwide next year and it'll most likely be with Earnhardt Racing

To be honest, I would like to see Patrick shake things up a bit. Though, I think she should gain a little more experience in a stock car before jumping in feet first. I would root for her if she got rid of her "the world revolves around me attitude".

Sorry, don't think she'll make it. she is gritty and determined I'll give her that, however the hype is larger than the substance here. At any rate, Nationwide (it'll always be Busch tho) series may be more interesting than the cup with the introduction of the Mustang, the Challenger and now 'little bit' in the car. Now if only Chevrolet would let the Camaro run on the track it really would be GREAT!

I'm am so looking forward to this over rated prima donna coming to NASCAR for her drubbing. The sooner she comes and gets her ass handed back to her, the sooner we'll hear the last of it. If she's coming though, she needs to get a boob job first. We real NASCAR rednecks aren't much on the "A" cups, like the open wheelers are.

With the signing of Danica and JR Motorsports, the circus has just begun! Which one of the two be..at.chez melts down first! Danica thinking she has balls and Jr being the pus sy he is. This is a hollywood sitcom script come true. The plot; Take two people who can remember how to start the darned car. These two must have egos that will not fail them even when they are the laughing stock of the sport. They really can't drive very well. But that adds to the laugh track. Feeling beautifull in their own mind will carry the day. The marketing side of the business (Kelly)only sees the dollar signs and there will be BIG DOLLARS.

You are so right on. Jr and Danica could turn this drama into the biggest money maker in the history of NASCAR. It could be a weekly reality show or a daily soap opera. Think of the possiblities. Since most NASCAR fans aren't really into racing they'll suck this stuff up.
