With the new managment at Spokane offering a pretty good payout to help run the car with and Bietler getting the keys to Monroe, those make two good reasons to stay home. But the reality is...the loop is about 3300 miles east and it's not an easy loop to get in to. If your young, single and willing to live on Top Ramon, go for it. Research which weekly track fits you the best and give it your best shot. Remember, it will be a zillion times more intense than running at places like Tenino or Stateline. Worst case...you dump your stuff, get on the Greyhound and go home. At least you won't be saying "only if I tried" when you get older. Best of luck to you.

Alan wrote: Would 15 be to old to start? There is no "formula". If you come from a well off family that can put u in racing at a young age your ahead of the game. A lot of "making it" comes from luck, being in the right place at the right time. Jimmie Johnson was a nobody in the Busch series when he called Jeff Gordon looking for career advice. Jeff was building his cup team and looking for a driver. If Jimmie didnt make that call who knows. Be Proactive.

I am 13 years old, and want to become a NASCAR driver. I have no go-karting expierience though. Have I done too little, or am I too young, or what? What is the average GPA wanted to become one? Can I still become a NASCAR driver?
