"I like what I've seen with Junior," McGrew said. "He's easy to work with and he has a real good sense of what the car is doing, what it needs and how to communicate that to us."

Hopefully he will get back to victory lane.

I would like to see him win at least one race this year myself. I'm Daytona bound in a few weeks, and I think maybe it will be just the time for the perfect storm. A plate race, jr and his new crew chief clickin, and me and my boy there to see jr take the checkers!

Go Dale Jr. and Team 88!!! I know that it will take time for you and Lance to mesh. What I heard on the scanner indicates more positive feed back from both you and the new crew chief. Wonder where all the negative nah sayers are this evening. Waiting to crawl out of the wood work I am sure.

I thought he had a decent run today. The communication it getting better and you can definitely see improvements with today's race. Plus, Dale's seemed alot happier this weekend.

I have hope!

He will always run mid-pack. He is no Kyle Busch.

So far, it is looking brighter I would say. I don't expect him to start burning down the house , but I do see a chance now ..whereas before it was looking mighty dark at the end of the 88 teams tunnel.

If Jr makes the chase this year it will be one of those NASCAR deals (fixer) like the 2001 Pepsi 400 at Daytona.

my guess is, that's their aspiration.
to be a consistent mid-pack runner.

should be easy actually, because the car itself is a front runner.
the other three guys have proven that.

I wouldn't be spoutin off about Kyle. Here of late he's been running back in Junior's zip code instead of hangin out in front.

I think Nascar should expand the chase number to 30, so Dale Jr can have a chance.

Why don't you guys leave the Dale Jr fans alone. You don't like him so what, they do. Just get over it already.

Instead of worrying about them hoping for Dale Jr making the chase maybe you ought to worry about Kyle staying in the chase. He's been dropping week after week and now is only 53 points away dropping out. That's not real good considering he has 3 wins.

Daily Horoscope for December 9

Pisces

You have a one track mind today, dear Pisces, and it's running along very ambitious lines, absolutely determined to achieve something you've been attempting for ages. Can you be so committed that you're prepared to let everything else go by the wayside for the time being? That's great, but don't become obsessive about it.
