France owned far more land in this country than Mexico ever did and we paid them LESS than we paid Mexico (and we didn't fight them or win a war against them) and yet they are not yapping about "stolen" land. Why? Because they are intelligent people who understand change of ownership. Suddenly, now that the land is worth something, people such as yourself want to yap about stolen land. There is no stolen land other than the land Mexico stole from Spain.

Spain owned that land far longer than Mexico. Mexico owned the land in question for no more than 27 years. Spain owned it far longer before that, and we've owned it for well over 100 years. Mexico's failure to defend itself is not our problem. We won. Mexico lost. Time to get over it.
