I beg to differ with your comparison, as Cesar Chavez was a very instrumental man for his people (immigrants). He at least cared about people. Calderon is in it only for Calderon & for those paying him top dollar...the drug cartels. He doesn't care for anyone, unless the drug cartels sanction it.
Yes, right Cesar Chavez loved his people and everything he did he did for the immigrant workers. He was their hero, and he cared, would've made a great president for Mexico! Where are all these patriotic I mean REALLY PATRIOTIC Mexican men who love their country and their people ABOVE ANY AMOUNT MONEY???

either you are very young or have been eating what his wife has been feeding those illegal aliens on the chavez issue.

anyone in areas where chavez and crew pulled their stuff knows what he and his crews did to any illegal aliens they caught. find out about his wetline and what he did to those folks.

he was a nice guy though sometimes he would drive them back to the border himself. the info is out there if you want facts, you have to look though do to his wife and son doing their best to hide things.

I'm not certain where you're going with your comment; however, Cesar Chavez was a US citizen born near Yuma, AZ. He'd have no reason to be president of Mexico. He was a successful in organizing some of the most exploited people in the American labor/workforce both legal citizens & immigrants (legal & illegal alien farm-workers) and getting them compliant with US immigration law of the time.

Cesar Chavez was against illegal immigration because it ruined his union's chances of controlling the labor market, unionizing and demanding better pay.

I don't need some coward such as yourself lecturing me on Cesar Chavez. You get your boner by following me around to judge my comments negatively, and whatever trips your trigger; however, don't expect me to carry a conversation on this issue with you. You've proven to be nothing more than a miserable excuse for a man, a horrible reflection on all Hispanics, and someone that isn't very educated; hence, you're not worth the time or effort. So I'll just say this, as it's been a long time coming: Rico, you really need to f#(< off. After your (and your sock puppet) antics on the other thread, you're nothing more than a coward. Play with the judging icons all you want, as they don't mean a damned thing to me.

You didn't correct me on anything! The only thing you've proven is your failure to comprehend my words to IMA. I clearly know who Cesar Chavez was and his life's mission. So again, why would I need someone trying to school me on Cesar Chavez who has a single digit IQ and hasn't a clue about what he reads & fails to comprehend?

Keep flattering yourself Rico, as that will be the only flattery you get other than from your creations (your arsenal of sock puppets).

Hey S B, in regard to your post # 70--your right I got this Cesar Chavez confused with someone else HOWEVER SOMEONE (Mexican) WITH HIS VALOR would make a world of difference in Mexico as president.

Hi IMA! Thanks for your response, as I got the jest of it but just wanted to clarify about Cesar Chavez. I agree with you that it would be nice if someone who really gave a damn about Mexico & it's people could lead them in the right direction politically to straighten out their economy & drug cartel issues...most of all, one that would value the lives of the women and wouldn't turn a blind eye to the numerous women murdered or the children being trafficked in the sex & drug trade.

I also wanted you to know that I appreciate your comment because of a claim Rico was making on another forum, which suggested I was being vicious with you.

http://www.topix.com/forum/news/immigration/T...

To which I responded that you & I have a very good rapport & we almost always agree on things with regard to immigration reform.

http://www.topix.com/forum/news/immigration/T...

I appreciate your clarity & putting his lies to rest. Thank you!

Daily Horoscope for June 4

Sagittarius

Relationships have been going through through testing times since the Solar Eclipse at last month's New Moon in Gemini on May 20. Events may force you to reevaluate the state of a partnership. You may even decide that you need to make some major adjustments if things are to carry on as you would like. During the coming fortnight leading up to the rare second New Moon in Gemini, this may feel like a crisis, but that doesn't mean you should abandon all hope or throw out the baby with the bathwater.
