that is a huge difference,1000s verses millions.

are these 1000s leeching off the mexican tax payers?

are these Americans bringing down the gpa of schools? over crowding their schools.

how about flooding their hospitals and never paying the bill.

is mexico supporting these folks and their kids with welfare food stamps housing .

are these 1000s 1/3 the prison population of mexico?

As a semi-permanent gringo resident in Mexico, I could tell you a dozen tales of how we have TRIED to comply with Mexican immigration laws and been stymied by impossible, circular regulations and corruption. We are currently legal, but it starts over every year. And every year, we find new, different impossibilities, most of which are only solved by greasing a palm.

That seems like Mexico's problem to solve. I'm fine with whatever solution MX deems necessary; it's their land and they have the right to govern it as they see fit.

I just wish MX would respect *our* sovereignty.

There are also millions of Americans who move to Mexico for retirement and give their entire Social Security Check to the Mexican economy. Just google that crap. It's real.

I live in Chihuahua, Mexico. Puerto Vallarta can be just as dangerous as Chihuahua if you get out into the country. PV is my favorite resort in Mexico hands down.

I was driving back from El Paso one night and had forgotten my Visa. The feredal agent at the road block was going to arrest me and deport me the next day. My Mexican National friend helped to defuse the situation. After some talking he let us go, but it was close.

It all depends on who you run into without your paperwork. It could cost you a big bribe, or many other things. You never know what to expect.

Like a policeman told a Mexican American on Vacation visiting Family in Mexico. I can take you out and kill you, rape you or whatever I want and no one will give a dam or do anything. He was right about that. This is Mexico. This all started over her not wanting to pay a bribe over a speeding ticket.

Typical American ranting. Give me a break! If it isn't one group of people in America being targeted it is another...Americans just love to scapegoat. Wake up! You are not the only country that deals with illegal immigrants. Besides who would run your restaurants and take the jobs you do not want if you sent all your 'immigrants' home, eh??? LOL!
