Cartel guns: Texas not lone provider

I hate to say this, but 99.99999% of the guns purchased in Texas are legal purchases under the law, as it is written. Texas isn't providing anything to the cartels. It is the corrupt MEXICAN officials at the border that are allowing them to enter Mexico. They are the providers, they are the enablers. Mexico cannot control its own corruption. All corrupt officials should receive jail time in Mexico, but that won't happen, the Mexican judges are also just as corrupt. They prostitute themselves for a peso. Calderon said that even those arrested for drugs, crimes, etc, are released due to corrupt judges...and those judges are cartel protected.

The United States can't, and shouldn't even try to clean up Mexico. It is their problem, not ours. Seal the border, let them stew in their own juices.

Talk about security for the American! What are we doing in the Middle East. This county is next door full of criminals and terrorists. I say invaded them, set up a democratic government (non corrupt) and nip the drug problem before it even gets to the US via the south.

Well DUH!!!!! What kind of moron finally figured this out? They got ship ports, clandestine air strips ALL over the country, trains, automobiles and "cargo" trucks from further South. What the hell do they think that the cartels are bringing in on all these,avocados, mangoes, chili's , etc? Then of course got all the arms "salesmen" from the military, Policia, Federales. Then the deserters take all the guns with them. So why would anybody need to smuggle ONE little gun, a pocket full of ammo across the Texas Border? It's just the Mexicans playing the blame game to get MORE money from the U.S. And then of course the Obama politicos, apologizing for the U.S.A. and accepting blame for anything, everything.

Finally, cracks are developing in the propaganda about the sources for Mexican guns.

It is the US press that keeps the lie alive.

B.A.F.T.A (Bureau of Alchohol, Tobbaco and Firearms) is spending their time and our money looking for gun dealers in border towns selling guns to the cartels, while the cargo is flying in to Mexico loaded with hundereds of automatic weapons and ammo. For a law abiding citizen to buy a fully automatic weapon in this country LEGALLY, the person must fill out extensive paperwork and agree to have the feds come in to your house to make sure it is there, if you don't have it and have not filled out a theft report, you will be hauled off to jail. Do you think the cartels are willing to do all that for ONE weapon.
