Too few answers? what are the questions? Of course there will be no justice, to ask for justice is ignoring the reality of what Mehoho is. Mehoho is broken with no hope of repair, primarily because all of the wetbacks able to invade the US and there is no incentive of government reform.

someone made that phone call to the local hit squad. my "spidey -senses" tell me those other four guys were at the wrong place at the wrong time. these goons did not just show up and single out one guy! what type of life insurance policy did mr. salcedo have?

the policia should have confiscated all the cell phones from everyone at that restarant that night. employees and diners alike. then asked carlos slim to check the phone records since his company holds the monopoly on cellular service in that 4th world country...

They thought one of Betzy's friend to be a police, so a mafia informer present in the restaurant. Made a call and we all know what happend later. The local police know who and why they were executed, but will do nothing.

They probably "find" the sicarios and present them to the media, and the whole case will be forgotten.

Greetings from Tijuana
A mile east of the Tijuana International Airport is an area police call El Fin del Mundo, the End of the World, where drug-cartel assassins dump their victims. Both Mexican and American citizens have been found there for years.

"They were a bunch of good people, lawyers, doctors, college students," Carlos said. "We knew the caliber of people my sister-in-law hung out with. And my brother would never associate with anyone with ties to this. It's nauseating for anyone to assume that. It is not how we were brought up."

THESE SAME GOOD PEOPLE ARE THE ONES THAT TAKE THE BRIBES AND DO MOST OF THE DIRTY WORK FOR THE CARTELS. YOU THINK JUAN THE MULE IS GOING TO CONTRACT WITH THE POLITICIANS? THEY USE THE "GOOD PEOPLE" TO BRIBE THE POLICE AND POLITICIANS.

Its very unlikely that those guilty will ever be held to answer for what they did. The inept and corrupt Mexican government, may send the police and/or military out and murder a bunch of people, and maybe get the guilty ones along with others.

They'll find Jimmy Hoffa before they find the killers of Salcedo.

Are all the other murders going to be investigated? Are the US officials pressuring the mexican authorities to investigate all the other americans who have died in the hands of the cartels in mexico?

What do the poor un-official popular ordinary people have to do to get justice for their loved ones that were murdered?

This is insane. Why is only one individual's life worth pressure from the US? Wrong place, wrong time? I feel so sad for all the other victims who the US has done nothing. Guess you just have to be important for anyone to care. so sad.

I don't think anyone deserves to get what they got not even if they're guilty. that would not make us any better than the animals who did this.

But, at 2 am in the wrong place at the wrong time, KNOWING what goes on in that particular restaurant is hard to buy. with that we agree... is his wife under protective custody? she was there, she heard the voices, what about her family? something is not right. but, no matter what, it will be covered up. especially after all the hoopla and production. i feel badly for the family. but sometimes, things are better left alone. why taint a memory. too many questions, too many questions that have not been answered. if they are answered, they may not like the results.

I'm pleased to hear that officials in the U.S. are taking interest and following up on this case. We need to. It would be a real tragedy to let this murder go unsolved.

These animals that killed these guys will never get caught,I do believe that they were there at the wrong place at the wrong time, no one knows what happened and why they were killed only the beasts that are still alive. Was there any one else with these guys? My prayers to the families of these guys. Maybe one or two were involved with these cartels and sadly everyone around them paid with their lives. So very sad..........Mexico is a very dangerous country to visit now, I don't understand why these people are putting their own country down instead of helping each other out, their killing each other like animals even innocent people pay....

Got what they deserved? You're an idiot. This is a US citizen, an elected official, an Assistant Principal and a Doctorate student at UCLA...his wife is a doctor at UCLA. Judy Chu, Mike Eng, Gil Cedillo and every other local elected official has known Bobby and supported him for several years. Born, raised and educated locally. Cardinal Roger Mahoney presided over his funeral. Don't you think they all did their due diligence before speaking up on his behalf. Do some research before you make idiotic statements. You have absolutely no clue as to who Bobby is and what his legacy will be.
True that Bobby has received much more attention than your average Joe...but why? Take a look at his life...he wasn't an average Joe. He touched so many lives and those are the people that came out to celebrate his life. 3000 - 5000 at his vigil and 3000 more outside that didn't fit in the stadium. He was a teacher for 8 years before moving up to principal. He had a lot of young people that looked up to him. Ask any 15 - 28 year old in the San Gabriel Valley who Bobby was and what he meant to them...that's where you'll find your answers....

Marty, better break out a map, the "VC" or Viet Cong originate from northern Vietnam. Chu & Eng are chinese, therefore, so are "there (sic) own people."
