Mexico calls on U.S. to halt flow of weapons to gangs

this is crazy

Just line the border with Troops returning form Afghanistan and put all of them in camps with 4 squads each or 10 men with 4 agents from the border patrol where they are set back 1/4 mile from the river. Back them up with large attack vehicle we pulled out of Iraq and widen the dirt roads all along the border with the camps 2 miles apart. Capture any and all people crossing either direction. Those with firearms turn over to ATF and DEA. The immigrants without firearms to be turned over to ICE for resettlement back into their own country. Take the smugglers and neuter them for the love of their country is not in their heart.

US troops do not have authority to arrest anyone so that would be a waste of time and money you old pos!

You would need to do a world wide ban to be effective. Mexican cartels would just get them else where as they do now... you do know the vast majority of guns they get come from over seas and not just the US?

NEAR ALTON — A preliminary investigation revealed an Hidalgo County sheriff’s deputy was justified when he shot and killed an alleged home invader Wednesday afternoon, Sheriff Lupe Treviño said.

He identified the suspect as Victor Manuel Cassilla Herrera, 31. Herrera, who was previously convicted of a murder in Georgia, participated in the home invasion of a family living near La Homa Road minutes before his shooting death, Treviño said. 

Records indicate he was released from jail in 2003 and federal immigration authorities deported him to Mexico, he added. But Herrera came back to the United States and was living in the Mission area, where he was involved in all sorts of criminal activity.

You are confused. Its the U.S. drug users and movesr to blame for the drug flow. If a blockade is placed on the southern border the drug flow will increase up north or from ports east and west.
