Albinos being targeted in Tanzanian witchcraft killings

Enforcement of protection is what they need. Too many people with idiotic ideas.

This is horrible. There is a myth in South Africa, who is suffering from an AIDS epidemic, that having s+x with a virgin cleanses you of the AIDS. Child rape is apparently common in the rural areas.

In the US, an 18 year old is thrown in a cage and possible r+ped and beaten by those around him for smoking a joint. Superstition is an evil thing. How many women are r+ped and killed in the world every year because of deranged beliefs?

I had to use a symbol for those words because apparently I am not supposed to be saying such things? It told me to "be polite". Tell that to the witch doctors.....

Actually, after reading the article, I don't think those witch doctors believe what they are saying about the "wealth" and such. They are just trying to get rid of these people.

This sounds like a National Enquirer story so I'm going to call shennanigans on the validity.

Superstitions hold sway when education is absent. These people can thank their governments for promoting superstition and ignorance.

Yes humans believe this way..some pray to a wall others pray to a piece of wood in the form of a cross. It happens all over the world.

In africa though I suspect they just hate white people.

If blacks aren't human, then how can there be people of mixed ethnicity? Humans reproduce only within their own species.

Yes indeed superstition is an evil thing but greed is also evil. Tanzanian has 170 people in police custody, in relations to the attacks on Albinos and still no prosecutions, that tell the world something... The Albino people must be protected...

I agree. And when I read the woman's statement who had attended her brother's funeral, and she is albino too, and she was just saying she wanted to get out of there, I wish I had the means. They should definitely be protected.

The lack of activity on this thread just goes to show that Blacks simply don't give a crap about us albinos, nobody ever stands up or speaks for us, nobody moans and groans about how albino children are treated by their "normal" counterparts. And then they expect you to have absolute loyalty to them, and yell "race traitor" or "self hater", when you basically tell them to piss off.

I have never seen a Somali Albino though, that would be interesting. But yeah, all this witch craft non-sense has to stop. I was watching the documentary on this same issue the other day in Tanzania, and the head of the Witch craft association in Tanzania was Muslim guy. I was shocked!!

I am black, and I give more then a "crap "about Albinos and all of God's children. I am certain once the people around the world know that Albino men and women have been killed and mutilated, they will take the situation to the United Nation or some other humanitarian organization...
However, you will not get world attention and protection by calling names.

Yes, you have every right to be angry at a system that would let this happen, now is the time to use your energy in a more meaningful way.

If the western world really care about these albinos they send them all to Europe where the environment is conducive for them.

Remember White people came from the Albino race.
