Led Zeppelin vs AC/DC

Hello,everyone...I wanted to know which band is better between these two..I will go for Led Zeppelin as they did better albums and they influenced more bands..AC/DC is not bad but Led Zeppelin is better..

So,let's do it like this..If someone votes for Zeppelin,he put the number e.g for me it's Led Zeppelin - 1 and the next to vote for Zeppelin will put Led Zeppelin - 2 and next Led Zeppelin - 3 and so on.Same for AC/DC

Back in black is an imitation of "the ocean".
Even though it's a great song, I hear too much led zeppelin in it.
Most of the acdc riffs are stolen from Jimmy Page.

Most riffs from both bands are blues based. These are two of my favorite bands. It's a hard comparison. Even though they both tended to play rythum and blues style rock, that's about the only similarity I see between them. Led Zeppelin's music seems a bit more polished to me whereas AC/DC tends to have more of a let it fly off the cuff feel their music. It seems it would be a bit of an injustice to pick one as better than the other. Led Zeppelin's album sales probably still exceed AC/DC's and they have concert attendance records that may never be broken, but AC/DC has out lasted the remaining members of LZ. It would have been interesting to have seen if Zeppelin would have survived the 80's and 90's as well as AC/DC did. Then again, had Bonham lived we might have seen them on reality TV right after the Osbornes.

I'd have to say Led Zeppelin was a better band, but I don't think AC/DC is far behind, and I don't think Angus stole anything from Jimmy, so enough of all that. But Led Zeppelin is definitive Rock n' ROll.

They're my 2 favorite bands but I have to go for the better band AC/DC.They both have some of the best guitarists and singers,but in my opinion Bon Scott is the best singer of all time,Brian Johnson a close second,and Angus young's riff's are simple but great but when he get's into a solo he blow's your mind,he's second best guitarist coming in below Jimi Hendrix.Ohnastly Angus is my favorite guitaristand Bon is my favorite singer.Robert Plant's smooth voice is one of the best ever but the smooth,rough,and weird voice of Bon and that cracked voice of Brian are just better than Plant's.Zeppelin's stage appeal doesn't match up to AC/DC's all Jimmy page does is stand there and look at his guitar while playing and they dress weird but Angus's head banging and the duck walk,falling on the stage playing through all that without looking at his guitar and Angus wear's that cool school uot fit.I like both of their guitar's but Angus's Gibson sg is better than Jimmy's fendor evan though occasionally he play's the Gibson sg double neck but it's not as cool as the single.So im going to have to go with AC/DC they are both the greatest band's ever but AC/DC is the best band ever.

led zeppelin and ac/dc are around the same sort of calibre but if led zeppelin
had survived through the 80s and 90s they
would be considered better than the beatles but as they only survived through the 70s it is hard to say personnally i prefer led zeppelin as there songs are not as rough but ac/dc have had some good
songs and they survived through the 80s and 90s which is commendable but in the end led zeppelin are just better

i love acdc. they rock the word out of rock. led zeplin is sweet 2. i thik these r some of the top rock and heavy metal bands out of all.obviously i've never heard of this till today...so ill have 2 go with acdc. this was hard and i feel bad but ya. i think acdc has really good songs and there all up beat.

acdc hands down their stage appeal much better., overall show much better and i just love watching angus do a solo while running

i like AC/DC better but i have to admit that led zeppelin did influence more bands

Hi I have seen both of this two bands live. And there are no discussion. Led Zeppelin play in another league than AC/DC. AC/DC is a very good band, but if you put this two bands neck to neck is to find something simmilar between a Opel and a Ferrari.

is easily a greater band the AC/DC im not accusing you people but listen to some more zeppelin...not just stairway and black dog
try some less know songs:
wearing and tearing
four sticks
for your life
hots on for nowhere

Hmm....O.K., Led Zeppelin realy had more influence on rock and perhaps are bigger than AC/DC. But personally I liked AC/DC much more....why? Pure energy without of any complications, especially if you seen boys together with BON SCOTT in action, than you know why !!!!

Zeppelin was better and they still are The Greatest rock band, not my favourite band(Guns N' Roses) but it was and still is the Greatest rock band according to me.

I really like both bands, but I really like AC/DC. My friend and I got into an argument earlier today about which band was better, which led me to search AC/DC vs. Zeppelin on Google and I found this. I have to side with AC/DC just because they really define hard rock and the rock n' roll lifestyle. Powerful riffs. Crazy singers in Bon and Brian. Wild antics of Angus.#2 all-time best selling album ever in "Back In Black". Even though Bon died, they still came back better than ever, which tells you something about them. they knew how to rock hard and they did it. They didn't take sh** from anyone, which is what hard rock n' roll is all about.
