Full story: latimesblogs.latimes.com

Thanks Maurice.

The other good news is that the album from the said show will not be released until September, 2010. This will enable the album to get big sales as by then a lot of people willl have seen the show and want a momento. Sony have indicated that the album will be the biggest seller since the 30 No.1's. The 'Duets' Album is still on course for a 2011 release.

:-)Carole.

From the web part of a press release:
"The contemporary architecture of the ARIA tower designed by Pelli Clarke Pelli will be complemented by the resort’s lavish accommodations. Within ARIA’s 4,004 guestrooms, including 568 suites, panoramic floor-to-ceiling windows will offer magnificent views of Las Vegas’ striking skyline. Modern decor, lavish amenities, cutting-edge entertainment and next-generation technology will be the hallmark of these plush retreats.

ARIA will offer unrivaled entertainment. The visionary team at Cirque du Soleil has partnered with CKX, Inc. and its subsidiary Elvis Presley Enterprises to create a permanent production, Viva ELVIS(TM), celebrating the timeless musical legacy of Elvis Presley. Extraordinary artistry, astonishing acrobatics, stunning special effects and The King will rev up vintage Vegas into a show like no other. Guests of ARIA receive priority access to Viva ELVIS."

Hi Maurice: Thanks for the update. Keep it coming. If it weren't for you and Ninas post this forum would be crazy. I remember you mentioning awhile back about another elvis forum that was good and you had to sign in. Could you please give me that info again. I looked but have been unable to find your original post. Thanks again. Have a great week!

Hi and thanks, Linda.

The other Forum I mentioned is moderated, and fairly so.

Maurice,

Any chance of you (as original poster) taking the 'Elvis Presley Eclipses Michael Jackson' thread OFF Elvis and leaving it just on the Jackson forum?

I wish I could.

But you will have noticed unlike others I have left it alone to sink but others keep it afloat by continually replying to the idiots.

All topix forums appear to have more than their share of disruptors.

What you don't see/read should not bother you.:-)

Daily Horoscope for December 21

Libra

You've been quite a gadabout in recent weeks, but as the Sun enters Capricorn at the Solstice, you start to yearn for the comforts of home. You might even be tempted to cancel some forthcoming social events, so you can flop on your sofa and catch your breath. Sentimental thoughts could steal over you in coming weeks, making you think about some of the people you used to know and love.
