Hello good music lovers.

I have a question for you forum members.
It's a question about Rastafarians really.
It's one thats been troubling me for some time, especially after reading a number of books on the Rastafarian faith.

My question is why are there so many "Rastas" out side of Zion.
As when reading several books of the rastafarian faith, I discovered that one of the main focuses of the rasta faith is to return to or repatriate to Zion (meaning Africa or Ethiopia).

I was thinking that if I was really true to my faith, I would do my very best to keep to the fundamentals of my faith (surely this would be a measure of my sincerity).

So, here comes my question again.
Why are there so many "Rasta's" in Babylon?
Surely they all cant be saving up for a ticket to Ethiopia?
And how about all the Musicians making money from selling Rasta music writing songs about 400 years of slavery, Babylon, Zion etc.

When they get their hard earned cash. What do they spend their money on? Do they spend their money on buying real estate in Ethiopia so they can build holy abode's for their many brethren? And do they spend their money on paying for their Brethren to repatriate to the Holy mount?
In a mass Exodus (by the way, good song Bob).

Anyway, just wondering.
Surely all the Ratsa's out there that are not already living in Zion can have enough spiritual virtue to put worldly things side (perhaps even the Holy weed) and save up enough to repatriate.

So, any one know. Why are their so many "Ratsa" inna babylon?

Next question/if Rasta are Nazarites, then why do they not conform to the extreme Leviticus Laws. As. we all know Nazarites are the Holiest of all the 12 tribes. As they have given extra special dedication to serving the lord in thought, word and action.

For the real rasta out their, perhaps time to get the Torah out and read Leviticus cover to cover, noting down all the laws that you need to conform too.
