You need a hug. This must be a cop. Dre must've burnt off on your a-- at some point eh?

RIP Mac Dre, how about burn in hell Dre. He was a no good thug who deserved everything he got by being justifiably killed. He had it coming after all the robberies, drug dealings, high speed pursuits and gun convictions he had. Everyone who has been killed in this saga had it coming, its called just desserts.

You're sounding pretty foolish - and lame. You need to try to get along in the community instead of causing divisions.

While most of the time I agree with your opinions BgDaddy, this time I'm going to make an exception. I'm in touch with a lot of young folks and while they all seem to love rap - most seem to be able to distinguish between what's right and what's wrong. The vast majority of these young people know there is no future in slinging dope, pimping and thugging. And you know that. WE - you and I - have to stop buying the negative hype about our children -it's being sold by people who have no interest in our well-being or community.

Your right I am a product of the Vallejo School system and with that being said I have a Master Degree in Criminal Justice. I am sorry that you dont know much about Bay Area Rap and that you live some where else but Mac Dre was known more for his music than anything tough guy. As far as you knowing Bay Area music ,, LOL!!! Thats pretty funny considering all the names you left off the list.
2-Pac
Souls of Mischief
The Coup
Baby Bash
Mac Mall
Funky Aztecs
JT the Bigga Figga
RBL
Zion I
Del tha Funkee Homosapien
The Luniz ( Yukmouth )
( and plenty more )
Your knowledge is limited so stop speaking on something you know nothing about. There are plenty more Bay Area artist who made some money and had air play through out the nation.,,, the fact that you left 2-pac off your so called list lets US know you must have just visited the Bay and have never lived here!
The last time I checked 2-pac started with the Digital Underground.

Mac Dre is dead and two people will be in prison for life. Many lives are effected by the decisions these men made. Who are we to judge? I suggest all of you remember and appreciate it is by God's grace that you are not living your life the way these men did. Fame and fortune mean nothing because you can't take it with you when you die. I pray everyday and thank God for every breath I take because it is truly a blessing.I don't agree with what Dre represented but it is up to me as a father to teach my children about life and make sure they know God. You can't build a house on a foundation made of sand.....

Okay, this is the last bit of conversation you are getting out of me b/c you are not exactly the sharperst knife in the drawer. I will indulge one last time, strictly to correct you b/c I strongly dislike when people speak on things they don't know about.

Re: the screen name Lotsa Paypa: Concord, CA mistook my "liking" of the song (by Mac Dre, thus using as a screen name) as me bragging about "having money" and called me broke. He was wrong. He claimed to have a degree (i could care less) and we went on w/ our friendly sparring match about who is actually doing something w/ their money, enter: our discussion about our real estate ventures. Immature no doubt, but we were just having fun. Yipee!

Now, I'm not quite sure what that has to do with you, or why that got your panties in a bunch, but who really cares right? You don't sound like a very smart or happy woman. I am putting an end to this converstion by praticing Law 10: Avoid the Unhappy and Unlucky.....you!

Have a wonderful life sweetheart. And by the way, I'm a female.

CONVERSATION OVER.

Well Mr. Lots Papya... if you didn't think you were better than anyone else you wouldn't of said the following: "I own my home in Benicia as well as rental property around the Bay Area, probably even the apartment you and your 'Baby Momma live in'. And third, when you have money, you don't talk about it. My screen name is sort of a joke b/c I happen to like that song by Mac Dre and think it's very funny.(in a good way) You say you have money, paper, cheddar, what ever the eff you wanna call it, well don't talk about it CLOWN, be ABOUT IT.
AGAIN YOU ARE CONTRADICTING YOURSELF AND YOUR POINTS.... BE REAL MY FRIEND... because it doesn't sound like you are!!!
As far as talking about something so ridiculous on a "Rap" blog that is my point. Why is there a blog anyway? It is absolutely absurd that we are even discussing these drug dealing, pimp, low lifes...
You're right I must be miserable and bored to even reply to this crap... but I am... so there you have it.

I always liked Mac Dre ever since I heard the song, "Not My Job" where he said, "And start war for nothin' G.W. Bush".

As far as looking down poorly on a "product of the Vallejo School System", I was too, and I'm doing just fine. A few of my friends I graduated with became Attorneys, Doctors - we had a very high graduation rate and many of us went on to college. A good friend of mine that I graduated with went on to become one of the lead developers of Microsoft in Washington State.

Nameless - just out of curiosity, what have you done for the community? I don't recall professional musicians being required to do anything for the community. I'm willing to bet there are far wealthier people in Solano County that don't donate a DIME to better any boys and girls clubs.

Well I get the last word. In my humble opinion YOU ARE A SHARP ONE YOURSELF: When you can't make a point attack others and call them dumb or not very smart. Wow... that is a very witty and highly intellectual thing to do. Again, you sound absurd, at least you recognized how idiotic and contradictory you sounded when you claimed to have all these real estate deals with such statements of quote, "those that have money don't talk about it."

Get a life Mrs... wealthy, highly successful, RAP expert who no doubt signifies, "Its better in Benicia". You are a tool.

END OF CONVERSATION

Good luck on money adventures ... maybe you can give me a break on my first and last month's rent!! YOU TOOL!

Actually God had nothing to do with the way that I am living my life...to live life like these dummies is easy, all you need to a 4th grade education, pants around your knees, a gun and some dope. That’s the easy way to live – and like they say easy come – easy go…….

What makes Mac Dre so special? What did Mac Dre do for this community? Answer: Nothing! Here is an individual who went to prison for armed robbery. What a great role model. Thats what I want my youth of todays generation to look up to. Here a man with talent and was going places and desided to do something asinine. Now this man dies broke with no money and this community thinks of him as a martyr...no wonder why Vallejo schools have a 41% drop out rate....Mac Dre you are my hero!

I don't understand the hype either. I think kids are so fasinated w/ the fact that he not only rapped about things on the streets, but he lived it. There are so many studio gangsters out there talking about things they see in the movies, to have someone who actually lived the life was fasinating to the kids who knew of mac dre. He sold drugs, robbed banks, pimped, went to jail, participated in car chases, knocked fools out on a regular, ect. So many kids from the streets don't have a father figure to look up, all they have is the neighborhood dope dealer with the flashy cars and wads of cash. They don't see that the wad in his pocket is ALL the money he has to his name. Or that he may have a car but he lives in an apartment with his Baby mama who is on welfare collecting food stamps and free cheese. Definitely NOT what we want our youth looking up to, or aspiring to be.

Rest in peace Mac Dre, many people loved your music and DVD's, but I am sure even he knew he was not a role model to young kids. Bless the Mac Dre family.
