Emo's...hmm...hypocritical, self centred, snobbish, rude and melodramatic is what I'de say the emo's I know are. There might me certain people following the trend who arn't like that but the majority is.

I dont care for this 'Emo' trend. Im over it.

I don't mind emos, but it's really lame to say someone's gay just cuz they don't like it.

lol, i just had a thought, about how no-one liked punk and it was stereotyped as a "bad thing" (you know, violent and drunk) so many years ago (i would've loved to have been alive then)
the whole emo thing is kinda like that and in 20 or so years time after it's "dead", we'll have people arguing over how "awesome" it was and there will be little "poser" emos that run around calling everyone else "posers" and stuff like this over whats emo and whats not and "real" emos will try to shut everyone up HA HA......break the cycle, i have mates who are "emo" but they're fun to hang with so i dunno? if they are so bad then why are they fun? are they like us, a few decent people hidden under stereotypes with a lot of losers that comply to the stereotypes created by society thus making another counter-culture......(holy shite, i'm confusing myself and i'm defending emo......weird, I must be tired)

There is nothing wrong with being gay or a fag why do you use these words as insult do you find the gay communnity repulsive otherwise you wouldnt use those words as negitive insults so you cant really preach about people who dislike emo when you yourself use homophobic terms to describe people who dont like emo.

What i hate is people hu don't have the time to actually figure out wat u are, and just group u with one word, yet when u ask them 2 define themselves they can't do it, people alwasys just group u as that because thats the word they heard for black, leather clad and spiky, even though quite clearly heavy metal started that like 20 years ago

I dont judge on appearence i usually give everyone a chance but in my experience most emo's turn out to be posers they may be alright to tlk to but when it comes down to it they are not really as serious about thier choice of lifestyle as they would like you to think. Im not saying every single last one is the same just every single one ive met. I only really have a problem with them when they infest forums with repetitive threads. And i would define myself as a DIY Punk 100% and thats just the short versions thier tons more to me than that

In all fairness why should you mother be proud its about how you feel about yourself doesnt matter what anyone else thinks of you...Im not a fan of emo's but i dont like to judge a book by its cover I give everyone a chance its a healthy attitude but im not backward about coming forward and i dont particularly like the whole emo scene or music and am not afraid to say so. But i dont think you should judge someone or think any less of someone solely based on thier appearence because that wrong and isnt a healthy attitude to have.

i agree entily but some other peoploe may not.i think the attuide emos have towards the real world in unrealic and depressing it must fell like the whole world is agaist u just for the things you beleve of the dress sense that they follow.
