Judge it!
It looks like someone at UK download company made a Friday afternoon slip up by releasing the announcement a few days early that The Beatles were to make their music available as downloads next week.
This may be a deliberate snub to Apple Computer who have been trying to sign The Beatles but had a little court case to overcome first!
Last year Wippit's owner offer the Beatles 50% of his company to come to him first. Guess they picked up the option.

I think the press release is kind of fake and might be slyly referring to the Classical Beatles album that just came out on download by Robin Hill and Peter Wiltschinsky - I had bought that album here last week: http://www.tunetribe.com/Album... - all on MP3.

It seems that Wippit (http://wippit.com ) have acquired a previously untapped source with a stack of rare videos and are about to launch a YouTube for unseen, remastered HD Beatles videos. It will be 'Love' for the eyes.

Beatles Across America is a download from Wippit not 'aired' since 1966 and is quite literally the best Beatles documentary I have seen in years. Instead of the usual backward looking puffery with the benefit of hindsight, this is a period report of The Beatles most controversal period and the interviews give their views of the whole 'Beatles more famous than Jesus' debacle.
