Latin Kings get legitimacy in Spain

Well, if the Latin Kings want to be a legal organization in the United States, and they wish to get our young children involved in their organization, then I believe they are going to have to change and really update their rules and bylaws of membership.
Example:(1) When dealing with minors, parents should be involved.(At present kids are telling their parent to shut up and walk out the door, just to go hang out.)
(2) If you are going to have kids learning about their culture (knowledge) then you should try to see how it could be incorporated into the education system for credit.(Being legal and all.)
(3) Instead of just hanging out, put your young well-educated members to help tutor others in need of scholastic help. This will benefit every one.
(4) If members are required to go to meetings, then they should be required to volunteer some of their time to help in the community as Latin Kings either tutoring, or helping the elderly or homeless.
(5) For minors the rules should include NO SMOKING, NO DRINKING ALCOHOL, and NO DRUGS.
If the Latin Kings truly and really want to become legal and law biding citizen, then these are a few thing that come to mind. If you want people and society to see the Latin Kings as a respectful organization in good standing in the community, then you must change your image that shows respect and honor for every one. You must start by educating and improving our youth and your members, that at the present are just hanging out in corners, dressing in colors to rep, and some doing poorly in school if they are going to school and showing disrespect, proudly saying they are Latin Kings.
If they want to be Latin Kings then a King has its best interest for its people. So, why don’t you Latin Kings leaders start organizing and do something (RIGHT) about it!

i as a former loeader of a tribe of the latin kings.. i had the young kings follow many rules..like no smoking..no drinking..no drugs..and they had to get atleast a B in all there classes and i would also give them a drug test when ever i wanted and they couldn't tell me no..also parents knew they were in the latin kings .. also the older people in my tribe had to have a job ..i was working on doing things in the community but something happend and i am no longer a leader ..the odds were against me for changing latin kings..but my mission is not over yet... i will try again soon...
not everyone in the latin kings are doing illegal things..some are trying to change the imagine but its not as easy as everyone thinks...i think with the help of local and state officals we can change the imagine and also help the youth..

If you were actually doing the things that the lectures and by laws say a true latin King must do then I give you all my respect. But as a mother of a son that thought he could change the impossible I can't see you accomplishing this when there are leaders out there that do not want the change. Tell me something, who is the one that one must go to in order to heard in reference to many of the issues that are happening today. When you decide to try again please let me know because I would also like to get involve and see if it can become what it was intended from the beginning.

School just stated here, and already they are failing quiz and test. Homework is poorly done if at all. My children say they have to go to school, do homework and study at the hangout. Well I'm hoping that the leader where they go follow up on their young members, because if they were to call and speak to me then they would know my children are failing themself and it's all there fault. I wish they would read this and made an effort to reach the parents of all their young members. I can't see the good unless they make the effeot to work with the parents as will.

As a once leader, you must know other Latin Kings that know other Latin Kings. So please pass this letter on to them. I know Latin Kings are parents too, and to help correct to negative would mean their childre will grow to be proud to carry on the Latin Kings legacy.'but to pass on a legacy of corruption and illigal gang related activities as the press and government puts it, would mean that poeple would always look at them in a negative way, and lable them without even knowing them as bad.

hello Rosa i seen this and thought wow that is how things where a long time ago where i come from this is the way it was but they lost their way many died many went to jail and the ones that made it seem to not care that the young ones need help they need to learn what this was really about i really like what you said may god bless and may your words fall onto the right ears

I believe with all my heart that if every one works together to get the word out, that a change will have to take effect. If the group that my children were with were not following the true teaching of the Latin Kings and this group is representing and carrying the Latin King name, then why haven’t the elders of the Latin Kings visited them and set them straight, or strip them from using the Latin king name. Let it be know in that area community that they are not Latin Kings. So that other young people know they are not true Latin Kings, and hopefully stay away from them. I have notice a rise in young people using taking some type of substance or drug, and it’s only going to get worse if every one don’t work together.

well, you just described alot of ALKQN chapters that i know of. you have to understand that there are alot of kings and queens out there but not every one of them are livin how kings are supposed to. the ALKQN bans drug use not just for youth but for all members. we have rules that also ban us from selling these drugs. some people are going to be who they are though and there are a few kings and queens out there who hustle but they do so at their own choice not for the ALKQN. and theres alot of fakes out there too you must understand that. i understand because if u not one of us, from an outsiders perspective, you probably think every body runnin around claimin they are kings and queens are. we dont seek praise or recognition for what we do. but trust me when i say theres alot you dont know.

Rosa has not been on this site since she moved away with her children. She was very upset because her two children got involved with the LK's from Phillie!! I knew exactly how she felt because I know through experience how they run in that side of town which is ashame!! But Rosa has been away from this site for a good while and she did say she was!!

Listen rosa, My nation was once faithful you know, it had a lot to do with helping hispanics with the war against racism. So you could blame the society for the gang-banging menatly it gave to us. Rosa does not get on this anymore since she moved from PA. She had it bad with her kids there and moved so that they can be safe. If you never been down that side of town you should stroll through it to understand where she was coming from. I know that not all are gang bangers but she only knew those she encountered and I gave her respect for voicing her concerns as a mother. One shouldn't blame society for any wrong doing!! I know how society has labeled us and for that reason one should strive to better themselves so that society can see that they are wrong!!! The Nation was born for a true purpose and for the good of the hispanic people. It didn't have in mind any gang-banging or atleast that is not what I understood when reading and listening!! I understand what you're saying, i hope the nation understands as well. It's difficult when the majority of our past is based on negativity. there are kings out there that are trying to make a difference for themselves and the nation. it's like a cancer, once spread it's almost impossible to cure. However, i have faith in the almighty father king of kings that one day we(rightous kings) will shine through the darkness and once and for all transform our nation to what it was originally planned for. You also need to understand that the system will only point out the negativity in order to win the trust from the public. I am presently workings with Latin Kings in the Dallas area. They are following the original wishes of our King Papa.

The goal to improve our latinos in education and political power. Without any illegal involvement.

They are college level latinos and latinas.

We are going to take the lead in this area our community to grow as a proud strong people and community.

Now, about the issue on Spain... they have been inscribed as a non-profit organization in Barcelona; in only one city... this means they are now "under control". On the other side, the LK tried the same in Madrid, and they got it denied.
