I don't agree.
Grunge was dead from the moment Grunge became popular. Grunge is Sub Pop not Pop. Sorry P.S. Download Free Nirvana E-Zine here: http://nirvanamagazine.blogspot.com/2007/11/d... |

I was a baby too during the grunge, and like you, I try and live the grunge lifestyle. I don't give a flying f**k if people think I'm weird, because grunge and grunge music are what I'm interested in. It was some of if not the best music ever made, during that time period when I was a baby, and even before then. Hell, most of the people I hang out with are into grunge and Nirvana as much as I am.

im 14 and im from the uk i love grunge music and believe that its not dead its just faded there just needs to re-introduced back to the people music today would not be the same with kurt cobain my favourite artist and if anyone here reads this site and lives in uk west midland(chances are slim) i am looking for a drummer or guitarist/vocalist to start a band with who wants to play nirvana music
wanna talk music add me on msn kid_with_guts@hotmail.co.uk |

Im 16 years old too, and I fucking love Grunge. I live the Lifestyle and would love to start a grunge band. The Gen X era of Grunge music is gone, but whoever siad that one type of music was for only one Gen. Afterall, Grunge was a revival of late seventies punk. |
||||
Wasnt it great to be a baby during the grunge era? I never heard any baby music or nursery rhymes, just grunge. Im 16 now, and Im still crazy about grunge. |

grunge will only die if you let it. sure cobains death was a tragedy to the musical world, and yeah i was four years old when he died, but i believe grunge live today in all the music we listen to, sure it might not be pure grunge... but it still is grunge

everything comes back into fashion eventually, whether its in our lifetime, or the next (which i hope not).... we need another music hero: from the beatles to nirvana, whos next?

1 ok sorry but i have to agree Grunge was never popular nor is it recognised as a music genre in any popular industrial WHICH MAKES IT LIKE A MILLION TIMES BETTER im 19 now im a true 90'skid and i thoroughly believe that everything after the year 2000 has sucked music wise and im sorry nirvana fans but your all far to single minded and cling on to nirvana past its actual worth i mean i love nirvana and always have done but seriously get your teeth into some screaming tree's or better yet temple of the dog and pearl jam and for those that want to here some seriously sick music get onto faith no more the second you have the chance |

I dont think you can say you like grunge if you only listen to one band. If so, you may only like that one band, and not grunge altogether.
|
||||
Red grunge is Nirvana pretty much. Another partial grunge band is aic. |
||||
|
True, Nirvana was the patron Saint of Grunge, but there are so many other bands, Aic, 7 Year Bitch
Blood Circus, Green River, Gruntruck, Hammerbox, Love Battery, Mad Season Malfunkshun The Melvins Mono Men Mother Love Bone Mudhoney My Sister's Machine Pearl Jam Screaming Trees Skin Yard Soundgarden Tad Temple of the Dog Truly The U-Men Nukeateen |
