Easley what are you saying it is just fine to be illegal breaking the law is just fine for some folk.Gov ernor your job is to protect the best interest of the good people of the great state of North Carolina.What a lack of leadership from someone voted in to protect us.I wonder who is lining his pockets what a sellout!!! Let illegal aliens into our colleges? UNC-Chapel Hill does not even let highly qualified, taxpaying NC residents attend there so letting others who have an illegal status is just an extension of this policy. If only Governor Scarecrow had a brain!

I guess this will certainly attract a whole bunch of illegal aliens. Oh boy.

What gov. Sleasley said was the schools should IGNORE what the attorney general stated.Maybe we should just ignore paying taxes as well!

I used to be a Democrat but they became to liberal. I'm too moderate to be a Republican, so I became unaffiliated. Now I'm just fed up. Perhaps it is time for a "Common Sense" Party.

Obviously, Easley thinks he is above the law. To openly defy the state attorney general should result in sort of severe response. He seems bound and determined to attract every criminal migrant he can find to NC. This is absolutely despicable and the legislature willnot take one step to censure him for it.

Here is a copy of the email I sent this clown of a Governor. This is not the first time this idiot has come out in support "ILLEGAL ALIENS".

EMAIL:
On November 20, 2006 I made a career change. I accepted a job in Wake Forest, NC. I only wish I had not done so. For 16 long months I endured your state. I put up with high taxes, high fees for items, traffic jams, sorry roads, one of the highest fuel taxes in the US, uncontrolled growth, and most of all I had to put up with "ILLEGAL ALIENS" and their "ANCHOR BABIES" on a daily basis. It is a sad state of affairs when you hear more Spanish than English spoken. When you walk into the McDonalds at Hwy 1 & Hwy 98 and every employee there is Mexican. When you get a N.C. drivers license you are really being issued the first North American Union drivers license complete with the North American Union logo and an oversized picture to aid in facial recognition for the NAU data base.

The state income tax for NC is a joke. If I had filed my exact same return in Georgia, where thank GOD I am again, I would have received $1,400.00+ more refund. I saw nothing in NC that I was willing to pay that much more for. During my time in NC several of your elite "State Troopers" really set a good example with their behavior. And on the issue of law enforcement I really have a problem with totally unmarked vehicles making traffic stops. I am a retired law enforcement officer too.

Seems the legislature sets a great example too. I saw several of these fine folks setting a less than stellar example. And what the hell were they thinking on the issue of window tint?? I can not have any tint on my rear window or on my passenger or driver rear doors?? Yet if I have a pickup, or large SUV I can tint those items. What vehicle offers more of a risk with these windows tinted to an officer on a traffic stop? A vehicle that can hold maybe 4 in the back seat or a vehicle that can hold up to a dozen in the back.

How about all the folks that are killed on the roadways of NC by "ILLEGAL ALIENS"? Remember the recent case where one of your own Troopers was struck by an "ILLEGAL ALIEN"?? How about the 7 year old in Johnston County killed a few days ago? North Carolina is a Mecca for "ILLEGAL ALIENS". This is a know fact and can be read in many articles where "ILLEGAL ALIENS" are interviewed.

North Carolina is a beautiful state from the mountains in the West to the Outer Banks. I worked with some of the best people I have ever worked with. However many of them feel the same way I do. I for one will not be a resident again. I will go to the beaches of Georgia, Alabama, or Florida. I can see the mountains in Georgia, Tennessee etc.

I will not recommend your state to anyone to live in. At every chance I relay my experience and urge persons considering a move to North Carolina to really look past the PR brochures and web sites.

I'm with you. I am way fed up and two particular topics are pet peeves. Easley and illegals. Put them together into one story and my gaskets blow. It makes me insane. I can't see how NC can continue to put up with this $hit. It has get reined in and some controls imposed. Maybe we should wait for Mexico to become empty and move there. I am really at the end of my rope on this issue.

i think all decent americans should give up on the rhetoric and fall into lockstep by demanding the same rights illegal immigrants are getting and have continued to get and just get down and start participating and endorsing the illegal immigrants for those of us who are legal citizens. after all, american citizens are being downtrodden and denied rights the constitution gives to us! the constitution gives no rights to illegals but they get them all and we get none!!

Gov. "Tax Hike" Mike is a TRAITOR to the people of North Carolina. The Supreme Court of NC should see that this TRAITOR is arrested, prosecuted, and sentanced from crimes against actual NC citizens.
