We saw how quick the society were to get out of paying taxes with the Jimmy Swaggart case. As soon as they realized they would have to pay taxes on their literature selling they made it donation only. Which in reality means the individual JWs now pay for most of it.
Church revenues sank by more than $1 billion, or 3.5 percent, in 2010, according to a new report that also shows churches overall dropped slightly in membership, with mixed trends among individual denominations.
