Dave, you are right...I don't know who all these ignorant people are making these totally uneducated comments. People that are certainly undeserving of your attention anyway. For those of you that comment negatively on that fact that Dave is listed as Original AC/DC frontman...what the fuck else do you suppose he do? Ignore his roots? Hello All i don't judge anyone of you there but what you said is really mean and Dave Evans is the singer of acdc without him acdc wouldn't be there today dave is not perfect but he has a lot of qualities like : great voice and sweetness with people he meets! and if you don't like him please write nothing cause he is really sad now cause he tried his best to give something real and i am sure he didn't insult anyone of you i wasn't there but he is sincer and he would tell me if he bitched you

I have read all the comments that have been posted and I am very upset with the fact that there is so much Dave bashing going on. If it wasn't for Dave there would be no AC/DC. Obviously none of you are true AC/DC fans. And from reading the postings, several of you don't even know the history behind AC/DC, shit some of you don't even know how to spell let alone know your rock history!!!!! Get your facts straight before you start bashing! And further more...if you don't have anything good to say, "Shut the fuck up" (ain't that right Mike). Dave Evans is a privilege to hear and so much fun to watch sing - once you see him you will never forget the performance and you will KNOW where AC/Dc got their flavor and spark from - it is Dave! He's got more energy to give his audience than 10 other bands put together and his joy for his music is very infectious - you'll be up dancing in no time flat......if you ever get a chance to see this man live - so it! This is Paul William Ray, guitarist on the last Dave Evans tour across Europe with Molly Hatchet... If you knobs that are sooking up about Dave only knew what a hard worker and great frontman Dave is you would put your comments back in your small minds. We were touring Daves latest cd 'Sinner'(which by the way is a pearler) and the hard work Dave and all of us had to put in was phenominal. We made the Molly Hatchet guys step it up every night just to keep up with us!! Dave can and will stand on his own without all the 'original ac/dc singer' stuff but hey, it works on getting his name around. You can't deny what an important role Dave played in starting the whole ac/dc train a rollin'... I doubt anyone will go home from one of his shows disappointed so give the man a chance at what he does best - balls to the wall aussie rock!!!! Nice to see that most, here, actually know how hard Dave rocks, the Acca Dacca connection, Thunder (what a band!), etc., etc. As another muso that's had the pleasure of sharing the same stage, or, at least been in the industry for a similar period, I can only say that not only does this guy remain one of the most genuine people, personally, but continues to get better, rocks harder and maintains integrity. More power to you, mate! Shame there are jerks around that can't read topics and don't actually have opinions. To those who criticize without listening first.....you should learn to put your money where your mouth is, and/or actually get a life, and stop bagging people that have the intelligence/talent to actually have one......

Having worked with Dave and partied with Dave, I'll say this,
He's one of the hardest working performers I've ever come across. Accusing him of sitting back and riding on the coat tails of early AC/DC glory is just ridiculous and totally ignorant.

I myself am putting a new project together here in Australia and part of the promotional package includes a run down of my past. I'm not riding on it. I'm just using it to jog peoples memory so they know what to expect. It's a perfectly normal thing to do.

Everyone has the right to criticise, that's not the issue. It's the mindlessness of this particular brand of critisism that's being drawn into question. Also notice the support Dave is getting here from fans and friends alike. You don't get that if you're a total wanker.

SO do the smart thing. Go see him, or buy his new album and have a listen. After that feel free to post your opinions. you have the right.
