WWW.MYSPACE.COM/UNITT4 OR RASCAL_PAP@YAHOO.COM
Out of a inner city neighborhood called Little Haiti, which is located in Miami, Florida, four young men by the names of Rascal (19), Eazy (20), J-Zoe (19), and Kidd (17) came together to form what is known as Miamis hottest underground group called UNIT 4. Influenced by some of todays and yesterdays hottest artists, Dr. Dre, N.W.A, Snoop Dogg, Tupac, Biggie Smalls, Slick Rick, and Michael Jackson, they first started out free styling on the block, banging on cars and garbage cans making any type of sound you can possibly think of. As the four of them worked together, they formed a brotherhood between them. At first they were known as Ground Zero, but due to legal problems they changed the group name to UNIT- 4, which stands for Us Niggas In This-4Ever. Their music was played underground and got a lot of attention in the underground circuit. They then became locally known and started to do live performances. They performed at such locations as: Oletta Park; Ms.Jeanette Big Birthday Bash; December 23, 2003, Inner City Talent Show; The Joseph Kalep Center; February 3, 2004, Inner City Kids Talent Show; The Joseph Kalep Center; February 7,2004, Micro Phone Check 103.5 The Beat; Broward County Auditorium; March 13,2004, Edison Idol; Miami Edison Senior High School; April 10, 2004, Quest Star Productions; North Miami Bech Auditorium; April 24, 2004, Patricas Birthday Bash; Legion Hall; February 10, 2004, Quest Star Production; The Finals at Legion Hall; June 11, 2004, Hip Hop Conference/Summit; South Beach; June 12, 2004, Open Mic Night; Club Banana Joe; August 14, 2004, New Dimension Talent Showcase; Broward County; September 17, 2004, Zoepound Entertainment(opening the show); Bay Front Park; December 13, 2005, MLK Parade; Liberty City, January 15,2005, Haitian Festival; Little Haiti, May 21, 2005, Rock the Mic Talent Show; South Beach; June 4,2005, and the CIG Music Summit; New York; August 20,2005. Since then, they have continued to record and compose beats. Three of their most popular songs that were recorded are: Stand Up, Life is a Pain and Superstar. Stand Up is a head banger, Life is a Pain is basically the struggles of everyday life in the hood, and Superstar has a strong resemblance to Overnight Celebrity. They have been influenced from other genres of music such as R&B and Pop. Each member from UNIT-4 brings a unique persona to the table, each having their own sound and ability. Knowing this, they continue to make strides as a team to reach their future goals of making a long desired dream to come true. MyGen Profile Generator |
