I've seen a lot of stuff about what was going on with them but that was about six months ago. Can someone help to enlighten me of this?

Ben fired Aaron Fink (Guitar) and Mark Klepaski (Bass) not too long ago for some copyright issue. Sad that things essentially ended like that for a band that has done so well together with minimal lineup changes.

Per the wiki:
On August 2, 2011, an article was released regarding a dispute over the new version of "Blow Me Away". The dispute erupted during the time in May when Burnley fired bandmates Fink and Klepaski. Burnley detailed his side of the dispute in a June court filing, saying Fink and Klepaski made unilateral and unauthorized decisions on behalf of the band, including giving permission in May for the new recording and remix of "Blow Me Away" without his consent.[23] Burnley seeks at least $250,000 and the exclusive right to the "Breaking Benjamin" name.[24][25] Burnley plans on continuing the band's work as soon as the lawsuit is over.[26].

I knew Burnley had fired the bassist and guitarist but I didn't know it was over the remix of "Blow Me Away", do you have any idea of what's going on as far as the drummer is concerned? I remember hearing that the original drummer was kicked out but I don't know if anything has changed with that.

You mean the 2011 Valora remix? That's what made the song famous. It reached #8 on the rock chart.

The original 2004 version barely made a dent.

Chad is playing for Black Label Society during the downtime with BB. He is still a member and was not fired.

Ya, Ben did fire Aaron and mark which sucks, and Chad ( the drummer ) did actually join black label society and there was a recent radio interview that he did only a few weeks ago. He said that Ben was still on hiatus, but he also said that as a drummer, he was never officialy a member of the band, even tho he was in 2 albums. He reffered to himself as a hired hand, which means he never signed a contract. Other than that he said he honestly dosnt know whats going on as far as the band goes. I really wish that whatever Ben is planning on doing, he does becauSe I really LOVE that band, and their music :)

Szeliga is an official member and this shouldn't be affecting him. The only ones responsible were the ones Ben fired for not notifying him of the remix that was made. I am in no way defending Ben but I just wish they would come back. My life was made in May 2010 when my dream was realized and I saw Breaking Benjamin for the first time. They opened for Shinedown and Nickelback in Saskatoon, Canada...5 songs they played and I believe the next show was Vancouver which they canceled so I am so thankful that at the time I saw the one band I have always loved more than any other.

Ben, if you're out there somewhere, I support you man and I can't wait to hear of your return because life isn't the same without Breaking Benjamin! Dear Agony was a masterpiece and I believe you have many more in you.

i don't think its that i think its more along the lines of insulting to Ben cause you normally don't release a greatest hits album until a band is coming to an end and Ben was having some medical issues that was stopping them from both performing and writing new material so he might of took.as them giving up on him.being capable of continuing the band

I heard on the radio the other day that Ben was quoted to have said they will hopefully be releasing a new album by the end of the year. Comment was made that there will obviously be a new guitar and bass. I'm paraphrasing but I know what I heard. Be excited!!

All the way from South Africa and I must say this, reading the comments above that BB might be releasing a new album this year has just MADE MY YEAR!!!!!!We don't get many updates regarding news on bands etc so I browse for the most recently updated info I can get.I have been just as upset with the fact that there may not be a BB anymore because each and every one of those songs had at some stage or another helped me through the dark times in the past, and in fact STILL DO!!!

Please can someone perhaps keep me posted on news about BB via e-mail?I would greatly appreciate it!

Daily Horoscope for May 19

Cancer

Try to get out and about today because it will do you good to have a change of scene. Even you, a home-loving Cancerian, can start to feel stale and bored if you're stuck in one place for too long, so try to vary your surroundings as much as possible today. Social events will go well, too, and you'll enjoy talking to people who make you think.
