My daughter and grandson, son and sister came today and we celebrated, then tomorrow, my son is taking me out to eat, and Sunday, we go on a picnic!! After what I saw at a meet and greet with Vince a few years ago, I wouldn't make him a PR man. After a show in MA, there was an event scheduled at a different venue... a meet and greet, the tix were $20.00 and the $$ to benefit the Skylar Neil foundation. My 20 bucks got me barely a glimpse of him before he ran out the side door and puked his guts out from too much booze. I think he stayed MAYBE 1/2 an hour and signed 5 autographs. I realise that this is the Crue, but this was a benefit for his deceased daughter. Talk about having no class. I still like the music, I grew up with it, but I have very little respect for Vince after that. |

Hi, I would like to say something in Vince's defense. I guess it is well known that many rock stars have drug and drinking problems. But this was for his child, putting all aside, whatever lifestyle any of Crue has or had, you know, sometimes on tour, what if one of them gets sick, the flu, whatever, this may have been the case. I can't believe Vince would miss a benefit such as this or just stay a short time. This benefit has always meant so much to him. |
In my opinion he had to be sick or had the flu, thats all it was. Either way he is still my hero. |

I have no reason to LIE. I was there... We (myself, my fiance, and another couple) spent $80.oo for the tickets. Like I said, I understand that they are Motley Crue. I also understand that Vince has battled substance abuse problems, but at a benefit for his daughter, I guess it would have been nice if he held it together. And no, I'm not perfect, far from it. But, I know where my priorities are. My fiance and his buddy are die-hard Crue fans, and they were pissed about how that event went down, and so was mostly everyone else who was there. |
