Jonas Brothers perform two shows at the Allstate Arena

I'm going tonight :D

The Jonas Brothers are AWESOME in concert. They really put on a fabulous show but the is one part that is extremely disappointing. Be very CAREFUL when purchaing a VIP package. Now it was originally stated that a original signature tour book would be distributed after the Soundcheck Party (I know I'm not crazy other parents were asking where the book was too) however there is no such book distributed. I read a few sites before the concert that they mingle do autographs and take some pics after the soundcheck...that didn't happen either. I get that there are so many people etc. and that's fine then do the signed tour book distribution then, but do not charge people $400 dollars and you don't even get one autograph. I've been to many concerts, with even bigger bands, and did not pay $400 and yet got to meet the band, got authographs and pics. Another thing is the tickets were 102 in the "VIP Section" row B next to the stage. One would assume that mean second row...when actually it was Section 102 Row 10 since there was another section set up in front of the VIP Section. I could have paid ALOT LESS and been closer in the non VIP sections. So nothing against the Jonas Brothers or their performance...but they should be more aware of what is going on/promised outside of the performance. Maybe it wouldn't be as bad if you weren't talking about scamming kids. I'm sure their parents wouldn't have liked some band doing this after they shelled out $400 bucks a ticket.
And they are not the only one's who do the VIP thing....Fall Out Boy did what they said for their package and don't have a problem mingling with their fans...and their opening acts were outside haning with the fans after the concert. KISS is going to be coming here sometime soon and are rumored to be doing a VIP promotion too....and I would bet my life Gene Simmons and crew will do exactly what it says...will probably go even above and beyond because he/they realize they are where they are because of their fans.
It's really sad because all the awesomeness of the concert was overshadowed by the disappointment
