Its the usual boy blames girl for his own insecurity stuff that makes pop music such a big money machine. Guy decides some chik is too beautiful, he can't cope, so he's suicidal... cuz of something she is. Don't get more blatant emotional blackmail than that. The second verse should be something about "so conform to my level of ugliness so nobody else is attracted to you and I will feel secure that you can belong to me, pretty thing."
That said, if there are enough chicks out there who think this is such a touching and cute sentimental song, instead of a power and control message about the threat of them just being beautiful women (sounds like some fundamentalist religious types, huh) then maybe I should be playing this song more often... Naw.
