Judge it!
I think a lot of reasons why movie writers and producers are doing lame raunchy movies is because Hollywood is running out of ideas for interesting movies.
It's much easier to come up with a movie with a storyline a 5 year old can write and then add in dumb jokes, tons of profanity, and raunchy scenes than it is to write a complex mind-bending intriguing movie.
Then again, look at mainstream American music. Songs are getting dumber and lyrically less philosophical. Maybe Americans are just getting dumber as a whole
No end in sight for R-rated comedies
Ed Helms as Stu, Zach Galifianakis as Alan and Bradley Cooper as Phil in a scene from "The Hangover." Raunchy, R-rated comedies are hotter than ever.

The vibrating panties scene alone in The Ugly Truth is worth the price of admission. It inspired me to buy the same remote controlled vibrating panties (online from DeepMemories) for my finacee ...except when we go to the restaurant, I'll be holding the remote!
