Q: What has happened to Keanu Reeves? Has he anything new in the works?

in 2013 released the film with its participation "47 Ronin". Now he filming own the new project "Tai Chi Man"

Keanu recently produced his own documentary: Side by Side about the science, art and impact on digital cinema. The premiere was at the Berliner Festival in Germany in february this year where he also attended workshops. Side by Side is coming out this year...I cant wait to see this as being one of the first digital sound studios in the Netherlands (early 90 s)and seen what it has done to the making of sounds. Anyway, Keanu has been very busy lately I think he is a very hard worker and is always exploring his possibilities.

I know pretty much nothing about computer technology, but ( or may be " that's why") I became fascinated by movie-making and everything what you can do about it with computers after watching "Side by Side". Wish , I've seen it about 20 years before, certainly I chosed another way in my life!

Yes, there are "Side by Side", already released and waiting for distribution; "Generation Um...", still didn't rleased and, probably, searching for distribution too; "47 Ronin", which is in post-production and promises to be wonderfull fairy tail with a lot of digital effects; "Man of Tai Chi" which he is now producing, directoring and co-starring.
Then,there is possibly sci-fi project "Passengers" , which seemed to be dead,but recently showed some signs of life.;)

KR has special sense of humor, so you never know for sure, when he speaks seriousely and when - just joking.
Well, he spoke few times about 3d part of "Bill&Ted", but how real is it? I've never seen 1st and 2nd, may be he just waiting on me?:)
Same case: after his "Ode to Hapiness"-book, he "promised" to wright "Haiku's of Hoop" - serious or joke? Who knows?

I think, later in the year "Side by Side" will go to few Film Festivals - I guess, Sydney; may be one in South America, Marrakesh for African continent?I would like to hope, Russia, as a big market,too.
Eternal busy. Too much, I think some times. But when I look on the foto's from "Man of Tai Chi"-filming - he is simply happy with his work.
At least somebody, who I "know", who enjoy his job ;)

I heard Sid by Side was sold and won't be in festivals but will be in theaters this coming summer.

Matrix 4! Please....it was really special, that trilogy made me a fan, but now I don't know....

He has made many great films Scanners was probably my favorite of his in this century but Constantine was pretty good, Street Kings was great and Somethings Got to Give was romantic and fun. Hated HC. Maybe Ronin will be special?

I passed by at the www.sidebysidethemovie.com and saw, they gave tickets for Tribeca FF.
May be they will do the same for Oklahoma?

Tomorrow Ronin will have a screening. Probably they will decide if they need reshoots or if it needs a different ending. It's pretty important.
