I've spent 3/4 of my life following Julie Andrew's career. I can't think of anyone (and I know their are) who work as hard as Julie Andrews works. She is unbeleivable. I am so proud to have knowledge of her extraodinary being. Happy Birthday!

Julie Andrews has always been the fairest lady on Broadway and in Hollywood, bringing joy through the magnificent sound of her music to our lives. She is truly an inspiration and what a wonderful gift she is giving us today by celebrating her birthday with a new book, The Julie Andrews collection of songs, poems and ballads. Have yourself a supercalifragilisticexpialidoc ious birthday, Julie!

Happy Birthday, Ms. Andrews! I have been a fan of yours for a long time!!! I saw you outside of the Fox theatre in St. Louis, Mo. back in 1987, after you did your show. I told you that I admired you and that you had "guts" and I liked a person who did!
Once again, Happy Birthday, Thursday,10/01/09

Sincerely, Nancy

I'm so glad she recovered from her illness! She's so wonderful and seems to exude happiness. "Princess Diaries 2" was a pretty terrible movie, but she totally took her role with humor :)

I don't envy the doctor tasked with repairing Julie Andrews' vocal chords. I bet he botched the surgery on account of being ridiculous nervous. Too bad though. Glad she's recovered some of her range.

Daily Horoscope for January 5

Scorpio

Let the past stay in the past for now. Even though you may have fond memories of intense experiences, the Virgo Moon sees to it that you have virtually no desire to go there again just yet. This is your opportunity to show others what you can do in a more civilised environment. Don't try to shout down someone who is rude enough to interrupt. As unlikely as it may seem, the softest voice has the biggest chance of being heard today.
