'Nights in Rodanthe': stars Richard Gere, Diane Lane

I'm glad I'm not the only one that thinks "The Bridges of Madison County" is the worst book ever written.

The beach at Rodanthe is awesome during a Nor'easter. Not many places in the U.S. where a little wind and rain wash over the highway. Having lived in this part of the country for 46 years it is a relief compared to Chicago. Richard Gere and Diane Lane are O.K. And, the fishing is good!!

slightly confusing review

I boycott anything with richard gere in it.

My husband and I plan on watching this movie tommorrow. Personally, I don't pay too much attention to reviews. There have been times were a movie was not liked by reviewers and I loved the movie. Sometimes a movie was great to reviewers and I hated it. So to each their own. I am going to watch this movie because I want to and not because someone said to do it or not. There.

So why waste your time reading (and commenting on) the review?

I'm sorry, but if you see the title of a movie, and are not sure how to pronounce it, it is a flop.

I agree...I thought it was a country or city in Africa!!

I seen this movie last night and it is GREAT! It is a tear jerker but I gotta tell ya, it is almost as good as The Lake House. I see alot of movies and this is the best one I have seen all year. To me anything Richard Gere plays in is great. I really don't pay attention to the reviews, because I have gone to movies with great reviews and it was a bomb, and I have gone to movies with bad reviews and it was great. You be the judge.

Richard Gere should be the last actor to be cast in a romance story. He's not believable - ever.

Tell gere to have his muslim friends go see it.

I hated it! I thought the acting was way too exaggerated..Message in a Bottle beats this one a million times over..bla bla bla that's how I left feeling..

these two idiots were first in one of the worst movies ever made...THE COTTON CLUB.

I saw the movie...I loved the movie. My husband thought it was good too. Critics are just a little too serious, and if you are a guy and didn't like it, probably you are not the romantic type. It was a nice movie to watch in a world that is full of enough violence, action and adventure. The two actors are not idots. They are good. You can't compare them to the actors in Message in a Bottle. They are just different. BOth movies were good. I think most of the junk out there are the movies filled with the "f" word and blood guts. So you go watch those movies and the ones of us who liked this will watch ours.

For reading pleasure. Doesn't mean I will agree.
