The Amityville Horror

I love this movie because I lived in a house when I was 8 years old that was haunted [in san antonio,TX.]and we end up moving out because it got to the point my parents started to here growling in the walls and seeing shadows,my brother would feel something get on his bed.So I can relate to this movie I think my mom should had sold her story about this house not 4 the money but to let people know what we went threw in this house on LITTLE CREEK ST.in SAN ANTONIO,TX.This experience stayed with us 4 ever till this day we still talk about what happened to us

I read the original book when it first came out back in the 70's, before the movie. I am somewhat sensitive to spirits and got a lot of negative vibes from the book. So one day my mother was burning leaves in the back yard and I asked her to throw in the book and burn it and she did. Later she told me she began to hear voices in a low mumbling tone, though no neighbors were seen anywhere nearby (we lived in a regular neighborhood). She also said she heard what sounded like a dog barking, which could have been a neighbor's dog, but remember there was a dog in the book too. So a few years later I bought the book again but again received bad vibes, so I threw the book away and have never bought it again, and won't. Perhaps a lot of the story was made up for the movie, but there is definitely something there in that book that was probably in that house.

The new Amityville Horror movie sucks dog dodo.I loved the original movie.It scared the day lights out of me when i was a kid.The original Amityville Horro will all ways have a place in my hart.I loved that movie and i was so happy when i heard the remake was coming out.Then i went to see it and almost cried.I should have directed the film it would of been a lot better.The new movie is a mix between The Shining and Jason.I thin they should of stuck to the script.Well thats all i have to say sweet dreams.
