He got me through many a drunken lost weekends in the early 80's. I stopped that lifestyle and obviously, he didn't. RIP "Baker Street"

wow, as soon as i read the lines about Gerry Rafferty i was/am flooded with memory and emotion... i am 43 years old and my love of music ranges far and wide. but it has just become even more evident to me, just how many memorys of my life as a kid and young man are tied to his music, as i listen to it now (my PC is loaded with archived music) i feel a little silly (yup, cryin' like a kid) not being able to contain myself, while having my morning (mourning?) coffee... GERRY, you gave alot of joy to a kid who grew up rough, and you still do. thankyou. R.I.P. MY FRIEND...

"Baker Street" is my all-time favorite song. It brings back happy memories of my senior year in high school, 1978. Rest in peace, Gerry, and thanks for the gift of music that you shared with us.

Used to get high to that song! Now my one eye has gone permanently crossed. Was it the drugs?? Probably, but it was a great song!@

Man that song "Baker Street" was great, the first time I heard it I was going down main street in KCMO at night (stoned) what a blast.

I saw King and Taylor last May. Great concert. Hope to see them together again.

The first time I heard "Stuck in the Middle With You" I thought it was John

Lennon singing. R.I.P. golden voice...you will be missed.

Stealers Wheel ... not sure about the vocal, there are are few Lennon-like riffs in the tune.
