New York is (usually) such a part of his films. What would his work be like if he hadn't grown up in NY?

Scorsese, so promising during his
classic 70's and 80's phase --yet
over time we see, beyond the riveting
acting out by his stable, and some
stunning camera flourishes and set-ups
---his endings, virtually one and all, fail to consumate spiritually
---or even artistically.

Read Jake LaMotta's book 'Raging Bull'
---THEN watch the film again ---and you'll see what I mean.

We're also saddened by Scorsese's last
couple of decades of tiresome routine
project work and endless Boomer era
retreading.

Boomer Hollywood ---what a let down.

-----Oh well...

Daily Horoscope for June 2

Virgo

You're feeling restless and need to introduce as much variety into your day as possible. However, you'll want this to be on your own terms, and you certainly won't like it if plans are changed without your consent or you feel you've lost control of the situation. Try to take everything in your stride, otherwise you'll end up feeling exhausted and frazzled.
