Cover story: 'Cuckoo's Nest' takes flight at Birdcage Theatre

I saw the play the following weekend and was pleasantly surprized to see a near-full house. I was doubly surprized at the quality of the play - I hope the above reviewer sees it again. Mark Johnston gave, as always, an incredible performance and either Dennis Perri IS Randall McMurphy or he is also a fine actor! The others kept in character very well, providing an overall very good production.

I attended the play the evening the reviewer was there from the Enterprise Record. One can only assume when reading a review by a critic that the reviewer actually stayed for the whole production. I was quite disappointed to see the writer from the Enterprise quietly leaving the theater after the first act. I think that if the play in its entirety is not viewed that the reviewer should defer from critiquing. For a complete review please refer to the newspaper called *The Mirror. This paper reviewed the play on the same evening but actually stayed to see the show. I myself found it to be one of the best productions I have seen at the Bird Cage Theater.
