Who Should Play Kurt Cobain?

Here's an idea, Shawn Ashmore from X-men, he has the features and isn't some big name Hollywood star , just like when Val Kilmer played Jim Morrison. Food for thoought

What's that guy's name from "Across the Universe"? Joe Anderson or something? Well, he should play him. He fits the bill pretty well.

I think that the model Justin Poortinga is a real close look alike to Kurt cept he's much taller but the facial features are so similar :) soooo if Justin takes acting lessons he fits the look that I personally heart xoxoxoxo

Joe Anderson would be perfect! He looks just like Kurt and did a great job in Across the Universe.

I know people will trash me for this but my pick would be Matthew Gray Gubler! Who is this Gubler guy? He plays brainiac Dr. Spencer Reid on Criminal Minds. Take a look at some pictures of him with long hair there is a resemblence!

ahhh... it probably is a cash in on the cobain name, and i'd feel like i just killed a puppy if i gave money to courtney love in any way but as a movie fan and future screenwriter and director i would really like to see this movie; although a little begrudged that im not the one makin it but i was lookin up the movie "The 27 club" i saw a dead ringer for kurt, i mean i thought it was an actor tryin to be him for a dream sequence but this guy was just legit; and also we need to make sure scarlett johansson doesnt play courtney- i heard that if she does its just goin to be for her

michael pitt is an obvious choice as he's already played kurt once, although i would rather see stuart townsend (he played lestat in queen of the damned), or the lead of the tribute group "cobain" - he'd need blue contact lenses but he could do the performance sequences (he'd have to change guitar hands too).

Justin Chatwin is the Shameless actor.He looks like Kurt alot if he had blonde locks.And he's short like kurt was.My opinion.The only other one who looks remotely close is Brad Pitt but he's too old.
