Retcon-Alert: New Mortal Kombat film to reboot franchise

Yeah really excited about the news and look forward to a new mortal kombat movie, the story has got so advanced that they can do so much more with this one than before and the roster of fighters has grown and midway have created so many new cool immaginative fighters that would be such a loss not to see in theatres!

I hear that the new movie will debut around 2010!

I like the idea of a new movie but the concept is absolutely god awful, any true MK fan should agree. I mean they scrapped the entire concept of MK. There are no longer realms, no Netherrealm, Earthrealm etc. And the bios of most of the characters look metiocre at best. But thats my opinion
