Brad Pitt: Life with Jennifer Aniston wasn't 'interesting'

Sep 15, 2011 | Posted by: roboblogger | Full story: CTV

The 'Moneyball' actor - who was married to former 'Friends' star Jennifer from 2000 to 2005 - thinks his life before his relationship with Angelina Jolie started to feel "pathetic" because he spent a lot of time smoking marijuana and "hiding". He said: "I spent the '90s trying to hide out, trying to duck the full celebrity cacophony.

Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie have problems too. Maybe not like your troubles, but fame and money bring their own problems. Plus, always having to create a part must be difficult. It would be impossible for me. Even if I could act, I would probably be a witch on the set. Yeah, everyone has problems.
it wouldnt be difficult or impossible for you to create a part, you can do what ever you put your mind to (well unless you got add lol. even then you can still do it). i beleave in you and i beleave you can create and the reason why is your writing to me words you created from your own mind!! why do you say you would be a witch on the set??

Supposedly, the happiest people in the world are the people who have just enough money to get by and very little more. You sound like you are having real financial problems right now. You are not alone - if that is any consolation. Probably not. So many have lost their jobs or could lose them at any time. Do you have family that can help you out until you are able to get on your feet again?

The really well put-together movies are rare. I imagine you have to work with so many people who may or may not be talented in their field - the producer, the director, the writer, other actors, and you have to bend to the will of many of these people. If they were all on-the-ball people, and easy to work with it would be o.k. But, how often does that happen anywhere? I think it would be worse in that close, budget limited, time limited, high tension atmosphere. If I had the apptitude for it, I would probably love the challenge and be willing to put up with all of that. Don't have the talent either. I probably can't act because I didn't have to act in my life. My life was pretty easy in that respect. My parents let me have my say without punishing me if I didn't go along with their ideas.

sounds like you got great parents that love you. i only have my mother. my father left my mother when i was 5 or 6 years old i think. i do have 1 brother and 1 sister as well. you know i bet jennifer feels like she is in a movie when she leaves the set each day. what i mean is there are people always taking pictures were ever she is. she probly feels like staying at the house most days just to feel like she has a normal life. then again she mite like it but she dosent look that happy in the pictures she has been in lately. so i would say she likes staying at the house most of the time.

While Brad Pitt was with Jennifer he pretended to be a someone he is not - someone more like Jennifer. He felt he could not be himself. After a while pretending to be something you aren't, is too much of a strain. He had to get free of that situation. He went as far in the opposite direction from Jennifer as he could go - Angelina Jolie. I think in Angelina he found someone who is more like him. However, this lashing out in Parade indicates to me he feels great pain at the fact that Jennifer Aniston is in a serious relationship. He has to hurt her as much as she is hurting him. All of this go around, I believe, comes from a childhood where, because of his creative nature and free spirit, he didn't fit in with the rest of his family. This caused him emotional pain. Jennifer Aniston represented his family to him. He believed he had to give up his true identity to please her.
Or could it be that you meet someone and loved them for who they are and once married realized the things you loved about them irritates you. What should have happened here is communication and compromise. We are all individuals and in relationships it's knowing when to take the lead and when to take the back seat. No relationship is smooth sailing and thats why it is important to know what you are getting yourself into before saying I do. Why do you think both he an Angie are not quick to tie the knot. They have both been there and know without willing to know and understand your partner fully things can go belly up. And YES, getting married is just the signing of papers but, YOU DO CHANGE. Brad and Angie I'm sure has had their downs and possibly considered ending things but, communication and compromise sorted things out for them. Besides, they have a ot of kids and it would be pretty bad to disturb things. Their relationship is on that is volitle (many downs but, when good it's great) I know because I'm in one. Jen's relationship is perfect for her, Justin is in the drivers seat and he appears to be a man with many tricks up his sleeve. I believe her sex life is steaming hott he is a leo for crying out loud and they are leaders, grounded and are beasts in bed. Jen is aquarius and is creative in love making so, all I can say is she is always smiling for a reason. Besides sex, they seem to be on the same page. They too have been their done that in realtionships and are cautious as well. I really want justin to get her pregnant. Everyone has moved on.

Yes, I was lucky in the sense that I was allowed to speak up. Everyone in my immediate family and my extended family - my mother's side and my father's side - were outspoken people. It was crazy at times, as you can imagine. Still, it's good to have things in the open. Having said that, my family was not perfect. People who come from broken families have that fallacy about "normal" families. So, value and embrace the family you have. I'm glad you are making progress as far as your occupation is concerned.

I think Jennifer and Brad were both trying to fix things in their past lives through their own marriage. Jennifer demanded protection and security from Brad Pitt. The things she lost when her father left the family. Brad needed to be accepted for the free-spirited, anything goes, unconventional and creative person he was. These were needs neither person could provide for the other. They couldn't see when they met and fell in love they were going to get the same thing in their marriage that they were running from in thier formative years. They eventually realized they were with the wrong people.

I, too, hope Jennifer Aniston finds her share of happiness. I commend her for waiting until she had herself figured out before she jumped into another marriage.

well looks like my life just got worse. my job is stiffing me. let me explain.there are poeeple that work at home and people that work at the shop from the same company. the ones at home put parts together and the ones at the shop make the parts. the ones at home get payed 400 dollers a case and it ruffly takes about 20 hours to do a case. they can put as many hours in as they want as well.they can make 400 to 1200 a week. they dont have to spend hardly any money on gas ether. the ones at the shop can only put in 40 hours a week and they get payed about 8.50 an hour. thats 355 a week. they also spend more money on gas as well. on top of all of this the owner of the company got me a new truck but i have to pay it back. i only make 8.50 an hour. i dont have any money for gas or food still. the 1st,2nd and 3rd checks got to bills so that means no money for food or gas still. im tired of greedy selfish people.i didnt ask to be in this world and now that im here i have to brake my back so others can have a good life. I GIVE UP!!!!! IM GOING OUT INTO A FEILD AND CUTTING MY RIST!!!

Yes, you do make yourself vulnerable when you are open about things. I have a friend who advised me not to express my vulnerabilities. I laughed and said, "That's how you find out who your friends are." She said, "Yeah, but......" I think she was thinking it was a dangerous thing to do. Belonging is more important to her than it is to me.

Yes, America does need a change. I personally don't trust either major party. The politicians from both parties can't get beyond their political mind set. Whatever their party dictates is the song they sing. They are like puppets. I tell you, I do like Rudolf Giuliani. He's intelligent, has a proven record in a political executive job (He turned around NYC, and that was not an easy job.) Even though he's a Republican, he has an independent mind set. He's his own man. He really does do what's best for the majority of the people. He thinks outside of the box. Best of all he's tough. We need tough now. The Republicans will never run him for President. They like the mamby-pambys they can control.

I guess we are in the hands of the Lord. Let's pray He can arrange a good leader for us.

It boils down to EGO….PRIDE…
.
Brad’s EW & Parade interview
hurt someone else’s pride as well as her fans.
It hit them very badly.
Bullseye!!!
.
Of course they know that BP’s life during his marriage was miserable.
To see BP now who is so inspired, productive, accomplished & so happy is just proof enough that his life now is miles better than in the past. For them, It’s just different when they heard the words from BP himself with honesty.. Remember, BP seldom grants interviews pertaining to his personal life. Thus, their pride was wounded when BP bluntly said that he’s very satisfied with his life with AJ. For BP to acknowledge that his life was a mess because he’s not leading an interesting life as he’s “pretending the marriage was something that it wasn’t.” was just too much for them.
.
Sure, BP or his rep needed to issue a statement for clarification to make it known that he didn’t mention anybody’s name. He was just referring to his life then. However, even if he didn’t mention his ex-wife, the fact of the matter that he mentioned about his marriage, it is still about X. When one talks about marriage, surely it involves your spouse. In BP’s case , he was only married to one…. and that’s X. So for me, any statement of Clarification”,“Retraction”,” Apology” or whatever is just useless. It doesn’t make any difference at all. And the ‘wonderful” so-called adjectives that were said about her on the statement are just PATRONIZING. Anyone who is not on denial would think those words means nothing……just empty words. It’s even like ADDING INSULT TO INJURY.
.
So, whatever the motives of BP re interviews plus the statement….it doesn’t change the fact that TRULY HIS LIFE IS MUCH, MUCH BETTER THAN WHAT HE HAD BEFORE AS HE IMMENSELY LOVES HIS LIFE WITH AJ & THEIR KIDS. HE LOVES WHAT HE IS FEELING…… AN INSPIRED, SATISFIED MAN!!
