Anything to bring in the younger fans.
have you heard the new remix 'Mean As Me " this things rocks. but Soney turned it down. To me it would have been a hit single. I wish they would let fans pick and not a suited arse-ole heres the link to it. Let me know what you all think? http://www.youtube.com/watch... Joe K www.elvis2001.net |

Remember when the DJ's would be able to play(spin) new songs, and if they were good the phone calls coming in would dictate the outcome.
Back in the late 50's the good old days:) |

Amazon has it available for pre-order with full details:
http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B003VYBNMG... I think the quality varies. Suspicious Minds and King Creole are pretty good. |

Judged: 1 1 1 Maybe thats because the "fans" are such a small group, and they are looking to expand their market. |

Judged: 3 3 3 I saw the show in Vegas and it is very up-tempo. Lots of action of acrobatics, different stages, dancing, costume changes, and dancer interaction with the audience prior to the show. As a fan of Elvis I have seen Trent Carlini another very talented impersonator. Enjoyed the Trent Carlini show at the old International which Elvis starred at for many years. Now it is an older resort called the Hilton. Many years ago it changed to Resorts International while retaining the iconic largest sign at one time in the world Hilton. Trent Carlini headlined there many times and if you ever see him with an Elvis show. Go! It is worth it. Personally I liked the impersonator better. Still go see the Cirque de Soleil show of Elvis. It is enjoyable. . |

Wow Joe that track is awesome. Elvis died six years before I was born so I guess I am included in the younger generation that is discovering Elvis. I was raised on his music. I appreciate all the classics but I agree with you, this song could really appeal to my generation as a whole and bring in a whole new set of Elvis fans. I feel like EPE and whomever else markets Elvis music and other items are really missing out on the chance to introduce him to a whole new audience. There are so many different ways they could market his music to the people of my generation that weren't introduced to his music by an older family member as I was. Thank you for sharing that! |

I really like the new re-styled version of "Susicious Minds". I know that some people think that Elvis's music should be left alone for die-hard fans, but I feel it keeps him alive in some way for all of his fans. I had never heard of this song before, "Square", but I really like it. Thanks for posting. |
Well i'm one of the die-hards but i agree. |

Judged: 1 1 1 I wouldn't call myself a die-hard fan, but I do like Elvis. He has withstood popularity for the 33 years he's been gone, which says a lot, in my opinion. |

Judged: 1 1 1 I think it's a great idea to bring back his hits in some new way for the younger generation, even though, as you say, Elvis is timeless. Elvis died a year before I was born. I love watching the old movies he was in, especially with my Dad. |

Judged: 1 1 1 Hi Jim - I'm thinking about going to buy that new CD you just got - Viva Elvis. I've listened to the songs on the website and I like all the songs. I think it'd be a good tribute to him to own. I thought I'd post on the R&R Forum a bit, as I'm getting tired of the MJ Forum, too! I'll still post there, though, we well. What do you think? |
